Awesome! Came for the grand opening. The line was long, but the staff passed out cups of water to everyone waiting. Great service! For the first day, the staff was well trained and everyone was very friendly. Food was great – on par with any other shake shack. Go for the shack burger!
Have you ever bought Shake Shack and sat down to eat it AT Shake Shack? No? Me neither… but NOW YOU CAN at this awesome new location!
Burgers are just as delicious as you'd expect but what makes this place extra special is the available seating both inside AND out. It's clean, not crowded and the best part is, nobody wears huge hiking backpacks that will smash you in the face while you're here.
The only issue I have with this place, much like every Shake Shack, is the long ass line that can snake out the door even on non-busy days. You'd think they'd come up with something more efficient but of course, it isn't Shake Shack without a little struggle, right?
Came here last night and waited thirty minutes on line to try the Shake Shack in Yonkers. I didn't expect much because it is a fast food "Chain Restaurant" and located in Cross County. Cross County has a reputation of destroying chain restaurant names. I don't know what it is, but for some reason the restaurant quality in Cross County is always very low. Applebees, Fridays, Olive Garden, Panda Express, Red Lobster, Boston Market – the list is long. I will admit the wait is long, but for fast food – it surely is surprisingly, really good. If you have never had the opportunity to try Shake Shack before, I certainly urge you to seize the chance to go now. I was impressed with how delicious my food was.
What is nice about the Shake Shack location is that you can also be seated outdoors. It gives the location a nice touch. The service here was great, everyone was very quick and friendly. My burger was extremely juicy, and cooked to perfection. My fries were crispy and salted perfectly. The chocolate shake I ordered was also thick and delicious – not watered down. My friend had the double burger and enjoyed it as well. He ordered wine with his meal and also said it was very good. It was a nice touch to have with dinner.
I definitely recommend Shake Shack to anyone. It is very delicious and I will be returning soon.
