  1. Came in and was able to obtain my free drink that i requested with less ice.   Because well i do not like my drinks ice cold

I ordered the peach green tea lemonade.   The free offer was good on any size so why not opt for the biggest they have a venti!

It was not super busy.  Which was nice.   The drink came out pretty good.  Athough i am not sure if this location has wifi

  2. Eh, it's a Starbucks in a super busy part of Astoria. There are always lines and the niceties that usually take place between customer and Barista are almost non-existent. They make their products well, however, I like a bit more dialogue with my servers.

  3. You would have thought all Starbucks would be the same…unfortunately they aren't. This is my least favorite branch of Starbucks due to their lack of consistency. One day they would make superb drinks and another, they would make you wish you did not just spend 5 bucks on coffee. I would only come back here if I was in the neighborhood and dying of coffee-dehydration.

  4. I usually stop by this Starbucks on my way to work. Like that their open so early.  they make my cappuccino extra hot always whenever I order it.  It always taste good! Their Service varies at times .

  5. Don't even try to compete in this neighborhood of fine coffees and coffee shops owned by real people and family's that live in our community.
Ok Cafe, 60 Beans, Brooklyn Bagel, Fresh Start Organics, and a bushel of family owned bakeries are just a few places I would highly recommend getting your coffee at first.

For me, it's nice living in this community because you can tell by the lines outside of the coffee shops who's good and who's not. Us Astorians' are a bunch of local buyers!
This big corp just isn't welcome.

  6. There aren't too many places to sit down and enjoy good coffee in that section of Astoria, hence the Starbucks on the corner makes it an ideal spot for locals and visitors alike. The service has always been good, the prices are consistent with other Starbucks and the free wifi makes it an ideal destination for a good cup of Joe while surfing the web. Its also a good place for people watching on the busy Ditmars Blvd.

  7. This Starbucks is fairly small and doesn't have much seating. There are some strange people who come here. I guess you find that at a lot of Starbucks but it's especially uncomfortable here because of the small space. I wouldn't spend more than a few minutes sitting here — just take it to go and avoid interacting with the freaks.

In any case, there's nothing special about this Starbucks. If you want Clover-brewed coffee, go to the one on Broadway. That one also seems to have less weirdos and more down-to-earth student types.

  8. I can almost always find a seat in here and despite it being busy, the staff are always nice.  The seating, though quite limited in comparison to other stores,  is cozy and it's a nice spot to linger, sip, read, people watch right on Ditmars, near all the shopping and dining provided you can find a seat.  Whenever I hop off the N train I always stop by for a beverage.
