  1. I've order from this place before but never dine here. My home girl loves this place. She called the place to make sure that they had vegan options. When they said that they can accommodate me. I knew that this restaurant and I had a love connection!

We enter the premises and the hostess told us we can sit whenever we want. I observed the restaurant and the decor was simple and nice. Guys nice place to wine and dine your girl! The waitress was nice and friendly. My homie order the pasta and chicken. It is safe to say she ate all of her food. I order pasta with mushrooms. I didn't like it. I should of order my veggie wrap instead. But my side order of sweet potato fries were amazing! I would definitely come back!

    Tips

    1. Parking. This place is located on forest avenue. You have to pay the meter during the day.
    2. Public transportation. The s/48 stops near the restaurant. During rush hours the s/98 will get you here faster.
    3. Vegans. Ask them to minus the dairy products. They don't mind it.
    4. The customer service is top notch. The waiters was intentive.
    5. Obs. I notice the other customers were regulars when the waiters called them by their first name. A good sign of a great restaurant.
    6. The bathrooms are located in the back.
    7. Enjoy!

  2. Came here for brunch and left very happy! The brunch is pre-fixe and includes endless beer, mimosas or vodka drinks and an entree for about $21.00. I had a burger and it was very good. Ask for fries instead of hash browns though. You need some kind of crunch element. The staff is great too. Before brunch was over (3pm, I think) our server came up to ask if we wanted another round so we would get it for free. My kind of people!

  3. As a bar, this place loses its appeal almost as soon as you turn 21. You very well might be the oldest person at the bar at 25 on any Friday or Saturday.

As a restaurant, I have in the past had good food experiences but yesterday made me change my mind.

We walked in were told curtly by the waitress when we asked to sit in the booth that we could sit over there and she sent us into the side portion with only tables.

When she came over to take our drink order rolled her eyes at the ordering of water.

    We left.

I don't know what the problem is for sitting people at 9 pm for a restaurant that kitchen closes at the earliest 10pm, but apparently last night expecting to eat dinner and be served courteously was a serious undertaking.

  4. Long waits – check, average food- check, bad service- check.

Came here on a Thursday evening and it was empty; now I can see why. I ordered the sesame glazed wings but unfortunately they were out of them (No problem, I can never mind changing my order to the classic BBQ wings) — When I got these "wings" they were dry as a BONE covered in a questionable sauce, which I do not understand how they attempt to pass it as BBQ. When another waiter came to our table to clean off plates, I told him that was really unhappy with my food (hence why I only eat one wing) he just stared at me blankly and asked if I wanted to wrap them up?! No apologies, No "Oh, would you like anything else?", NOTHING! Glad to see customer satisfaction is a priority for them. Only pleasant part of the meal was the caprese salad which was very fresh and a generous portion. Unfortunately a salad is not enough to have me come back.

  5. $5 cover on a Saturday night which was absurd. I have been to way better bars that do not even have a cover.   There were a few people in here, it looks like a decent spot to get drinks if you are from Staten Island.  I only came here though because it was my friend's birthday and he is from Staten Island.  I give credit where it is due, but a $5 cover fee, ok ambiance and hardly any people in here frankly I do not understand why there is even a cover.

  6. Robyn, the bartender, is THE BEST!! I only come here for her!

It's a great deal for brunch, too, if your idea of brunch is leaving wasted.  Which, let's be real. It is.

  7. Not what I expected. Our open faced  Ruben was pretty good. Kinda weird as they had 80's rock on the speakers and a fine diningish atmosphere.
