Alchemy Creamery Ice Cream

“I came across the Alchemy Creamery stand at Smorgasburg by the Brooklyn Bridge Park during my trip to NY.”

“I like how they invent fun and interesting flavors and making everything vegan with coconut milk and not soy.”

“I tried all three flavors they had on hand; a maple walnut, peanut butter, and chocolate chai and really enjoyed them all.”

  1. Had a vegan brownie sundae at Smorgasburg in Prospect Park last weekend and was definitely not disappointed. The only drawback was that the texture was a little less creamy than one might desire from an ice cream. Even a vegan one.

Other than that, I loved the brownie and the flavor options they had. Next time I'll try a push pop which I've also seen in the freezer section at Riverdel.

Oh one last thing. Alchemy- please lose the tiny wooden spoons. The texture of the wood is super unpleasant and also makes scooping inconvenient.

  2. I found Alchemy at smorgasburg and I was super excited to enjoy some vegan ice cream. I got a scoop of peanutbutter and I forget my second scoop but I got raspberry sauce on top. So delicious but very tiny scopp

  3. Had their ice cream on governor's island. Got a cup of chocolate chai with sea salt for $4. Not bad. It tasted almost like regular ice cream but not as creamy and fatty. The flavor was good but I could definitely tell it wasn't "ice cream." If you aren't vegan, I would stick to dairy ice cream.

  4. I had the pumpkin with the bruleed marshmallow. So good but I wish I had more marshmallows on it!
