  1. First trip here. I was super excited, a authentic Pakistani restaurant in the Bronx! From the outside it's a hole in the wall but once you step in and the incredible aroma of Pakistani cuisine takes over your senses you wanna try everything!
This is a small family owned business that's been open for the past 2 years. They have all the basics prepared, chicken biryani (chicken and rice), beef nihari, haleem (meat and lentil mash), a few veggie dishes, tikkas, kabobs and naan bread.  They have a small selection of sweets, firni (rice pudding) and jelabi.
On this visit I ordered a nihari (spicy beef stew), chana masala (chick peas), palak aloo (spinach and potato) and naan. It came with a fresh salad, and raita (spicy mint yogurt sauce) I also got a chicken samosa (mince chicken fill pastry) while I waited on fresh naan. The place was mostly empty, one small group seated having their meal. The girl behind the counter was sweet and polite,  she offered me the firni dessert as a gift to a first time customer. After about 10 minutes my order was ready to go.
I gotta say I am impressed, the food was really good, spicy, fragrant, not oily, except in the chana a little less oil would've been better but it all tasted like homemade Pakistani food! Everything was enjoyable, I prefer to microwave the food when I'm home so it's piping hot, I opened my bag to find generous portions and huge naans, enough for 3 meals, all for $23.75.  This just might be my new spot! So happy to find it.
    Happy Yelping!
