  1. This place is very close to my house and opens till pretty late for dessert. I would say that the pastries are really meh, but the gelato is definitely good. I had breakfast once here. The waffle was decent but ham on the side was practically crispy which wasn't so good. Service is extremely slow and inattentive. They hire these kids and they suck.

  2. This fantastic place opened in November of 2009, according to the waitress when I asked, and I am surprised that no one has review it on Yelp yet.

I have been to breakfast a few times to this beautiful looking "Gelateria & Euro Bar" and on all occassions it has been fantastic. All the items are reasonably priced and there are many healthy choices. They have fantastic omlettes and frittas along with their own signature ricotta blueberry pancakes.

I love that they offer a generous portion of field greens if you dont feel like going the potato route to go along with your eggs. The coffees and expressos are very good quality as well.

The service has been improving over the last few times I went. I noticed the waitress has been much more attentive to her tables by offering coffee refills, taking orders promptly and checking that all is ok with the patrons meals.

The have a lunch and dinner menu, that I'm sorry to say I haven't had the opportunity to try yet, but the options look great. Painni, tapas style pasta selections, friti, salads. They also have various dinner specials each night. The prices all seem reasonable.

The interior is beautiful decorated with a very european feel. They also offer outdoor seating when the weather allows, but to be honest, Eliot Ave is not much of a view especially with a Chase bank going up across the street. The marble bathrooms are beautifully designed and impeccably clean.

This place is great if you are spending some time in Juniper Valley Park since you can just go literally around the block and have a wonderful breakfast, lunch or dinner or perhaps a refreshing gelato. You can also get a glass of wine or beer here as well.

The website does not look like its up, but I remembered the address from the menu because I wanted to look them up and see if they deliver (which they do).

Middle Village certainly seems to be getting better and better food options with this along with Uvarara on Metro and Organic Village, the raw food option (which is technically Glendale)  I hope the trend continues..

  3. So ive never had delivery,  only pick up.  The food here is very very good and price is great. The amount of food will surely last you for tomorrows  meal too. The penne alla vodka is good, the sandwiches are all really good. I guess they need to learn how to get their delivery on point..
I always call in the order and take a walk to pick up.

  4. I don't know what some of these reviews are all about but they are way wrong or probably just a bunch of kids acting stupid. This place is great for brunch. The coffee is perfect as well as the service. When asked what kind of coffee they use they told me to my surprise "Choc full o' nuts!!" Really?? Gotta get some for the house I guess. Their signature Ricotta Blueberry Pancakes were so good that syrup was not even needed. The taste of the pancakes alone was outrageous where I think using syrup would take away from that. I ordered the Buon Omelette which was a super large omelette stuffed with asparagus, prosciutto and gruyere cheese plus a large order of homefries which were seasoned perfectly and I hate homefries but these were like nothing I ever tasted in a potato!! I also ordered a side order of bacon. They gave so much bacon that I couldn't even finish it. I left unfinished bacon!! BACON!! That's not me! But when you give me 45 strips of bacon for $3.00, even I can't finish that.

Quantities and the quality of this place were amazing for 2 people the bill came out to be around $23.00. I will definitely be back here again!!

  5. So we received a gift certificate to Buon for Christmas, We decided to use it about 2 weeks later. We ordered fried polenta sticks, they were okay and a bit odd tasting. They could've either been bad or mixed with some sort of cheese that had a tang to it. I'm guessing it was the cheese, my fiance wasn't a fan. Then we had the rice balls, they were very very good, we really enjoyed them. they were nice and big and very tasty.
For a main course we ordered 1 order of chicken francais which was very very tasty, they gave 2 nice sized cutlets. The only problem I had is that a thicker piece of one of the cutlets was pink inside. That for me is the end of dinner. I put down my fork and pushed my dish away.
For dessert she had cheesecake topped with mixed fruit and i had peanut butter gelato with fresh whipped cream. All in all it was a good meal and we'll be back.

  6. Good local spot for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Cute cafe style. Good coffee, gelato & pastries. The food is decent as well.
