  1. The prices are ridiculous, too much for my likings.  It's just a casual place to eat, nothing fancy at all.  Just a normal deli.  The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is because the workers are super nice and their food was really good.  The workers talked to me the entire time I was there eating breakfast, being the only customer inside.  They were so friendly, and they definitely knew how to make a breakfast sandwich!  I was satisfied by the time I left.  If your friendly and show you love your customers, that really helps make a business great!

  2. Came by this coffee shop randomly because I needed something hot to warm my hands lol. The staff was super friendly! However, their coffee was bland and flavorless, and the entire cafe was pretty run-down. Not exactly a place I'd want to visit again.

  3. Soggy microwaved sandwiches, decent coffee. Blech, don't go here, there are too many good places in NYC to waste your time and money here.

I was starving after I arrived in the city for the weekend, but it was already late afternoon and I had a dinner that night, so I wanted a quick, cheap lunch near my hotel. I passed by this place on the way to another, more highly rated deli, but I was in a hurry and famished, so I thought I'd give it a go. I got a chicken fajita sandwich thing, and although the flavor was alright, it was taken straight from the case and microwaved. When I saw the guy take it out of the case and put it somewhere behind him, I assumed he threw it in a real oven to warm it up. But after a few alternatively scalding hot and ice cold bites, I knew he had nuked it. It was also soggy and falling apart from the microwave, which made it more difficult to eat. It was one of those times where you're just disappointed you wasted so many precious calories on something so crappy.

After such a poor experience with the food, I wouldn't normally go back and give this place more money, but I was tired and had a long day/night ahead of me so I decided to get a small coffee to go. The coffee was good and strong, but not good enough to warrant me ever coming back to this place or any of the other locations.

  4. Only tried a cupcake. Granted, this isn't a strictly-cupcakes joint, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Got the lemon-coconut cupcake, and looking at the bakery case, it seemed promising. One bite in and I knew I made a financial mistake: dry cake with frosting that tasted like the packaged kind that you pick up in a supermarket. Completely unimpressive. Oh well…

  5. Ordered an eggplant parm panini –  it came on a big bulky roll not at all what I wanted. Eggplant tasted microwaved, wasn't crisp and had an old flavor to it. The whole thing was a miss and went right into my trash can.  Oh and this was after it was delivered to the wrong address, despite me having put in very clear directions. I order almost everyday for lunch and no other restaurants have ever been confused.

  6. The food from here is way too salty. I tried the penne vodka and also the meatloaf and mashed potatoes from here and both of them were overly salty. This is basically just a generic, overpriced lunch deli that caters to the business crowd. The pitas, wraps and sandwiches have probably been sitting there for days as well.

  7. While in the city for the week, we stayed at the nearby Marriott and this location was on our way to the subway. We stopped by four different times and we were not disappointed.

The service was excellent and very friendly.  The hot food was fresh and the salad's were made to order.  The desserts selection was vast and we couldn't help ourselves during every visit.

The seating area is small, but comfortable.  Make a point to stop by and check them out.  I will stop by the next time I am in the area.

  8. I REALLY liked my sandwich, and I really liked my tea, and I really liked the service, and I really liked the menu options. The eggplant parmigiano sandwich was just shamefully delicious (as in, I couldn't believe how much I was enjoying a sandwich from such a humble deli). It was very flavorful, warm, and comforting.
