  1. I went to this place at around 7:30pm a couple of days ago with two friends. My friend was craving some chicken. My friend expected some fried chicken or something (haha) but was quite surprised when he looked at the menu. I forgot what he got, but it was chicken mixed with rice with fries on the side. It looked really appetizing. My other friend and I wanted to share something so we got the mixed salad. The salad wasn't mixed when it came out but it was arranged very cutely. Our waiter was very nice. Got us refills on our drinks and frequently came by to ask us if we were doing alright. The place wasn't packed at all. It was quite empty, actually. Just my friends and I and another table on the other side of the place. It was nice and calming, though. I think the lights on the walls were cute. The prices were reasonable. Not much to say, but I will be coming back to eat at this place again with my friends.

  2. Amazon Amazing Amazing I was up visiting my cousin and she suggested this place for breakfast. I went and ended up getting (I forgot the name of the plate) but it had Scarmbled eggs, rice and beans, chorizo,a churasco steak and a arepa. It was divine!!!!! The amount of food you get is great for the price. The place was pretty empty but by the looks of it I'm sure it's get packed. I didn't again until the next morning I was so full from this breakfast. The quality of the food was very good except for the arepa it was too dry for me. The steak was made right the rice and beans were on point and the screed eggs were ok. I strongly suggest this place if you want a good fulfilling meal. The staff was very friendly and our server Juan was amazing, very attentive and took care of our needs. I will definitely be going back up for the new year to pay them a visit again

  3. I had heard about the Chicken Coop from a friend a while back so I decided to try it recently with her and it lived up to the hype. The restaurant was quiet on a Saturday night with about only about 3 or 4 tables full, but the atmosphere and music was pleasant, and the waitress was really quick and on point.
I tried a platter with some chicken, steak, rice and beans, pork rinds, and a couple of other things I don't remember. I also ordered a side of Yucca fries which were pretty tasty too. They were just the right kind of deep fried. The waitress also brought out a small tray of dipping sauces and salsas that were very strong and garlicky buy oh so good.
This place can dish up some solid Spanish food for very good prices and is a force to be reckoned with in the area.

  4. I ate here a few times in the fall and it's a shame I haven't returned since. The food is delicious and addicting. The tostones with guacamole appetizer is an fantastic dish. The pork rinds that come with some of the meals are also tons of fun to munch on.

  5. Great Colombian food. Nice ambiance, cumbia and vallenatos quielty playing in the background.

  6. I'm beginning to like Chicken Coop more and more mainly for their:

    Simply good no frills food.
    Portion size is huge.
    It's affordable.
    They're open seven days.
They usually do (quick) delivery.for me and I only had one bad experience when the driver was terribly late but she apologized and seemed genuinely contrite.
Their spot is cozy (especially at evenings) and clean.

I'm a fan of their family meal which includes: rice, potato, a whole chicken, beans and salad for days. This meal costs $27.95 with tax and when it's my turn to cook at home I get this, apply to home dishes, turn the stove on (it's better to play the game well), sprinkle some black or cayenne pepper and violà! Dinner is served. I know you gonna try this at home.
    You're welcome. **winks**

    The End.
