  1. Went here for a quick breakfast. Good options and quick service. The food is fresh and tasty. Lunch has a buffet and the food looked like it would be good.

  2. I quickly lost sanity points while trying to order. The two men behind the counter chaotically barked at customers then assembled sandwiches. The growing line became so confused regarding whom had been helped and who hadn't that the tension among customers was palpable.

I believe that the guys were using their poor grasp of the English language as an excuse for bad customer service. Well,  we are native Spanish speakers and that didn't seem to help us much. Regardless of language, interactions were like pulling teeth. For example, asking for a toasted bagel with lox.  After explaining the meaning of lox, his response was: "you want us to warm it??? That's going to make you sick". Not entirely sure why warming their lox sandwich would make me sick, but eventually they did toast the bagel.

The food itself was okay. The type of okay that's usually accompanied by a shrug. Definitely not worth the hassle.

  3. This is the best place ever if you're a tourist in New York City and want to grab a cheap breakfast! Just a simple cream cheese bagel, scrambled eggs or oatmeal with fruit. It all tastes excellent and is cheap compared to other NY prices! The service was always friendly and the area to sit in is absolutely fine since it is not a restaurant!

  4. Good Hot buffet in the back for lunch. About ~$8.50 a lb… same as everywhere nearby

They also have a ready made sushi station stocked throughout the day.
9 Piece spicy salmon roll is $6.50, most of the other rolls are within a dollar.
As far as taste goes… its alright, just your average pre-packaged sushi.

Breakfast is a deli style line. You tell your order, they make it, wrap it up, and write a price.

First time I went –  3 eggs, bacon, and cheese on a wrap. $4 75
Second time i went – 3 eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese, ketchup, hot sauce  – $5.25
If you ask for hot sauce, they will give you sriracha.

Good size portions and the line moves fast – multiple guys on the grill cooking eggs.

Lox sandwich also on the above average side. They typically give you a nice stack of 4-5 slices of lox compared  to 1-2 at other places, and give you a nice thick slab of cream cheese on the bagels. $8,11 after tax

For lunch, deli sandwiches are awesome. Really big, packed with lots of meat. $7. Way better and lots more flavor than Park Italian Gourmet across the street

Don't get the paninis. They get microwaved and taste like mush.

Soups are priced very well, but are mostly average and not very thick.

Chips are $1.50 for small bags.

They also carry Tates cookies for $6 a bag if you like those

Downside to this place is $8 minimum on credit cards though

I the deli next door is there if you need a  non cc minimum.

  5. Just another korean deli.  They have solid quick lunch options and they also have udon, ramen, soondubu, bibimbap, etc.

You also get to see a lot of the times square characters walk in here every now and then, so I guess that means the food is a good value.

There's seating upstairs, but usually most of the office folks nearby just get food to go.

  6. LOVED this place. Fast service, delicious food, and a huge portion.

They have a really large selection of food with a deli counter, salad bar, hot bar, and tons of refrigerated options. I opted for a NY bagel with egg, cheese, and sausage. I was not disappointed. The flavor was fantastic!

It's located right near a ton of attractions and hotels. It was about 2 stores down from my hotel so score for not walking too far.

  7. They do a lot of stuff and none of it particularly well. And they charge exorbitant fees for medicine. Boo.

  8. I visited the Cranberry Cafe several times as it is just a few doors down from the Hyatt Times Square where I was staying.

I picked up bottled water and Jalapeños potato chips, coffee another time, and visited the Hot Bar one evening for a late night dinner and got some food to go. The Hot Bar food was rather plain, yet solid, stick-to-your ribs food.

They have a full, rather large salad bar, hot bar buffet, coffee, sushi, sandwiches, and more. There is a sizable breakfast business going on here mornings as evidenced by the line of folks ordering various breakfasts to go.

And it's a small convenience store as well. There is limited seating downstairs, but there is an upstairs area with more seating – according to the sign I saw – I did not investigate.
