It's been only 3 days since I moved to this neighborhood but this place has already become my go to!
I stopped by for the first time on Friday for a smoothie with carrots, ginger and apple and it literally and instantly helped alleviate my eyes' tiredness. The ginger taste was a bit strong, but that's healthy for you!
Today, I walked round trip 22 blocks just to get myself a cup of fresh wheatgrass juice from here. Again, I felt much better after taking a sip.
Everything is fresh and made right in front of your eyes. And both the owner and the lady who manned the cash register today were both friendly. I briefly talked to the owner and discovered that he had studied and practiced preventative medicine/acupuncture and had actually an extensive knowledge about health. Not to mention he has been running that same store for the past 30 years- that says something about the quality of the store!
The drinks aren't exactly cheap, but then again, neither is Starbucks coffee and we all still stubbornly get the latter (myself included) 🙂
