  1. Like this place a lot the first two times but went recently and it wasn't as good as when they first opened. Nice interior but sometimes the crowd is a little sketchy.

Not a big fan of the cook on your table dining experience am too worried about cross contamination !

    Friendly staff

  2. Nice place. Friendly staff. Clean establishment all around. The cook was entertaining. He put on a good show and some little lights. His English is not perfect but you can understand him and his humor. And the more Sake he served you the funnier he got.

The food was prepared to order and was very good. Everything fresh and tasty.the sauce was very good. The lobster was especially fresh. Small but good.

Overall this was a great visit and would return when in area and mood for Hibachi

  3. Great place to eat and for drinks. I always get the vanilla crab crusted salmon and a pitcher of dragonberry tea. I wouldn't go on a Friday or Saturday night as they have some club night and charge to get in. Plus the scene at that time is hood.

  4. I also was staying next door at the Hampton Inn, and as is my habit when traveling…I check out reviews to find places to relax, have a drink, dinner, etc. The reviews on Dragonfly are spot on. Yes…the bar prices are higher than many chain restaurants…but do the chains use Makers Mark as their normal bourbon? The only problem you will have…deciding what to eat. Oh…and how can you go wrong with free desert when you check-in on Yelp while you're there?

  5. A couple things about this establishment caused me to rate it two stars. The service was ridiculously slow, not to mention there were only 5 tables occupied. The sushi was beautiful and plated very well. I had the spicy Sargent roll and green dragon roll, moochi warm saki and the table top bbq. The ambiance is beautifully decorated with enormous fish tanks and they are adding hibachi tables as well.

  6. I was in New Jersey for one night on a quick work trip.  If you are staying at the Hampton property it is a great place to spend an hour or so for dinner.  They have a great happy hour here from 3 pm – 6 pm.  Half off drinks, appetizers, and sushi.  If you are coming just for the drinks, they have 3 TV's on each side of the bar so you could catch a late afternoon baseball game here and be perfectly happy 😉

I showed up just in time to miss the happy hour deal, but settled in at the bar anyway. The bartender was quick to wait on me.  Within 5 minutes I had my Guinness and was ordering my meal.  I decided to order sushi and it ended up being a good choice.  I went with the spicy tuna roll and the white tuna nigiri.  It was a good meal.  The only reason I went with 4 stars is because I felt the prices were a bit higher than necessary, but the atmosphere was pretty nice so I wouldn't feel bad about coming here again on another visit to the area.

Thanks to yelp I was able to get a free vanilla cheesecake desert for checking in.  It was almost like fried ice cream only the cheesecake was fried and the ice cream was on the side.  It was very good and best of all, FREE!

  7. Great location, cute decor, decent prices and nice menu. The food isnt authentic "asian" food, however, it is a nice place to relax and before heading to lowes theater for a movie! They have good portions and their sushi is pretty good. It is a chain / americanized restaurant, so you cannot expect this place to have an authentic taste, but they have a nice menu to meet different tastes. I havent tried the grills in the tables but when I do stop by, everyone who is sitting in front of them does seem to  enjoy the experience.

  8. Overpriced but overall great food. You really can't go wrong with any of the rolls, but my favorite so far is the crouching tuna hidden crab. They have some neat combos. In the summers you can sit outside which is equally as beautiful as the indoors. I got a hummingbird mojito once since I love dragonberry, and it was strong, fruity, sweet, and grassy. Service is friendly but can be slow since the restaurant is so big.
