  1. As a cafe, Dunhill AKA Suckhill scores miserably.  I can't even begin to imagine how bad they'd be as caterers.  The customer service is rude on the phone and the delivery was among the worst I've encountered.  To make things worse I've ordered from them at least 3 times and each time was virtually the same.  I guess I just gave them too many chances.  It's those cheap prices for gourmet food I tell ya ($6 for a crabcake!).

I decided to chance a visit when I was walking by during lunch time and was disappointed with the options at hand.  The place wasn't incredibly busy, but I soon realized there are much better options in virtually every direction but this one.  The food is not outstanding, there is no reason to venture back for me.

  2. I'm super disappointed in this place. My family and I visit NY at least once a year and we always come here because it has such a wide variety of options for everyone and the food is good, which is why I will still give it one star. However, as we were eating my family and I noticed that one of the workers was full on digging his nose, like 3/4 of his finger was up his nose. He then noticed we saw him and he kept on digging away as we stared at him. It was disgusting, I have never experienced such horrible customer service in my life, I can't get the sight out of my head, I won't be coming back here. His coworker that was standing next to him talking to him also said nothing about it which leaves me to assume that he thinks that is okay. We complained to the manager on our way out and his coworker proceeded to stand up for him. There is no excuse to be full on digging your nose for over ten minutes while working in the food industry. He had no respect for the customers. We won't be returning here ever again!

  3. Another place a few doors down from the Hyatt Times Square where you can get breakfast. They also do everything else, sandwiches, salads, you name it.

Ordered a custom omelette: spinach, mushrooms, scallions, jalapeños, and pepper jack cheese. And a side order of corned beef hash.

Long line of folks ordering breakfast – most to go. I ate mine there.

When the omelette was completed – I asked where the pepper jack cheese was – I was watching them make it. So they slapped the omelette back on the flat top and melted the cheese on it.

Omelette was decent, I added some black pepper and hot sauce (the kind that comes in the small single serve packets – not very good). Corned beef hash was your typical canned variety – if I had to do it over again I would have asked to make it more well done, more of a crisp skin on it.

Paid with a credit card. The lady ringing me up must have been new. She had problems using the register and had to ask for assistance three times from the other cashier.

  4. Went for breakfast and it was okay.  The place was kind of dirty in that no one was picking up after past guests so there was limited seating.  They had a good variety and prices were reasonable.  I got some sort of breakfast sandwich and wasn't let down.

  5. I don't know what's wrong with you people – Dunhill is a perfectly good choice for lunch.  If you're demanding crab cakes for lunch, you shouldn't expect much from this place.  If, however, you want a fresh salad or a delicious panini, prompt delivery and friendly, efficient people on the phone, Dunhill is a wonderful option.  I've ordered from this place everyday for the past year and the most they've ever gotten wrong with my order is Equal instead of Splenda for my iced tea – everything else is great, and they know me by name.

  6. Home of the 5 dollar breakfast . I got French toast Bacon and 2 eggs scramble with cheese for 4.95. CAN you believe you can get that in NYC? hell you can't get tissue in NYC for $5 bucks.. Well it was served fresh, hot and fast… I will def go back here when I come back to Manhattan

  7. 3 Eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese on a wrap for $4.95 + tax.

Also, all wraps get the special panini treatment on the grill press

This place is very narrow though and when its busy on weekday mornings the line gets a little crazy.

They also take credit cards with no minimum.

  8. So I'm trying something new and Yelping while eating the food they just delivered to me.  I'm starting out at a solid 3-star review, and adding/subtracting/doing nothing from there 🙂

Delivery was a good 10 minutes after the longer estimated delivery time.  But I do work in a big ole corporate building…so it might have taken a second longer for the guy to get in and down to the delivery center.  So we'll leave it at three stars.

The food was packed well, everything I ordered was there, it looks quite nice, and they included two free rolls!  .5 star up!

The small salad I ordered was fresh, the proportion of toppings to dressing to greens was perfect…and I'm a happy camper!  .5 up!

For my entree, I went with the create your own pasta.  All of the ingredients were there, though proportions were off, seeing as I had to hunt to make sure the grilled chicken was there.  The portion is a bit small, but still ample.  But the complimentary park, red pepper flakes, and basil were mixed in to the pasta, instead of being traditionally served on the side.  And the creamy pesto sauce really wouldn't have had much flavor if it weren't for the saving grace of the red pepper flakes.  And the sauce isn't all that creamy…..more too much oily, even for pesto.

So I'll keep the review at 3-stars.  Decent option for pasta…awesome option for salad (though they charge you an extra $1.00 to chop it on the delivery site).
