Dunwoodie Old school pizza place definitely like going back into time. No frills no glamour just simply good pizza. Thin crust good cheese leaving you satisfied and hearty. Whenever I stop in New York I make a point to have a slice of pizza somewhere somehow. This place made not have done any upgrades in eons but sometimes that works like it does for Dunwoodie. Also had their garlic bread sticks and mozzarella sticks. Man and if you get those wrong than you are simply in the wrong business…
Best family owned pizzeria in Yonkers! I have been coming here since I was a little girl and all the people that work here are so friendly and welcoming. It is such a nice, clean environment and gives a really at home feel. The prices here are affordable and the pizza is delicious. It's usually never too oily or burnt.
Definitely make sure you bring cash, they don't take credit cards. Also, I recommend trying their Italian ices – they are the best!
