I called East End to have a half case of wine, some champagne, and spirits delivered to our niece in NY for the holidays. I looked like the inventory on the website was a little out of date, so I called the store.
They could not have been more helpful. The gentleman I spoke with helped me to pick a few selections, was patient with me, and was enjoyable to speak with. He was familiar with a number of wineries on the West Coast and when I told him what I liked he would recommend something similar.
The prices were reasonable and they delivered within 2 hours.
Pretty good liquor store, in a good spot – there are few businesses on East End Avenue, which is annoying. I used to go to East End more often, but better selection and prices can be found within a few blocks. The last few times I have been in, the girl at the register looked like she was less than thrilled to be working, which is off-putting.
