  1. The inside is somewhat dumpy, there was a hole in the roof but hey, they serve excellent Mexican food.  Everyone eating were all Hispanic and my friend and I were stared at when we entered and left.   That's how you know it's authentic.  There's a jukebox in the back and whenever there's a futbol game on you will find lots of men in here enjoying a beer or two.  The waiters dress somewhat sexy and are very lax with their service.  You'll probably have to go up to one of them to get your check.  They speak enough English.

I ordered a horchata  ($2.50) which is a very popular Mexican drink made with rice water, condensed milk and cinnamon.  It was rich but not creamy and excellent.  My friend ordered an enchilada ($11.95) entree with salsa roja.  The entree arrived with 3 small enchiladas filled with yummy cheese and a generous amount of toppings including cheese, sour cream, radishes and salsa.  It was a bit on the spicy side and my friend had to ask for more sour cream.  It also come with rice and beans which were nice.  She stated that this was the best Mexican she had ever eaten!  I ordered three tostadas ($3 each) with carnitas, chorizo and al pastor.  I think I could of done with two.  Each tostada came with a freshly fried flat hard taco shell as the base, served with whatever meat and fried beans, salad, sour crea,m, radishes and dry cotija cheese.  Mmmmm.  The chorizo and al pastor were excellent.  The carnitas was ok-there was a little too much fat for me.  My friend ordered the flan for dessert which she was unable to finish and I did not taste a bite since I was so full.

Overall this place is excellent and I would come back.  They also cater for large parties.  Enjoy.
