I would categorize El Tropica as a cafe. Mix of bakery counter in front, bar counter further back, several four tops. Decor is OK but not going to impress. Servers are Latin. Friendly enough and service is about average for a cafe or diner. I use this place as breakfast stop. Fairly cheap. They don't offer Wi-Fi but I pick up a XFinity signal. Entertainment on weekends, I am guessing this a BYO.
Went here for authentic Dominican breakfast. The mangu was decent. Server was great. She was polite and checked in on us periodically. The place is clean and has a cool vibe. Prices were great for the amount of food you get…especially lunch specials. They also deliver just about anywhere in the neighboring towns/cities which is awesome.
