Didn't get to try the food. Waitress came 1 time never came back! People that came in after us got served and were eating before us. WORST service ever! My suggestion is do take out.
Ok in my previous review I said I would never go back but come on the place is across the freaking street!! So we went back and got the half chicken special to go on friday night and….we went back again on monday night! It was really good! Now I dont know if we caught them on a bad night back in march or they just cleaned up their act but the food was great. The chicken previously dry was now moist and juicy, the rice and beans which were so-so before are now delicious. Not sure what they are putting in the sauce for the beans but its amazing. Wish they would give a bit more beans though. Havent tried the tostones again. Had the ribs and they were tasty if being a bit lukewarm. Glad we gave you a second chance Estrella! (Still not sure why a place that specializes in chicken is called star of the sea but whatever)
