  1. There's a reason I don't eat here and don't order from here.  The parking situation is tough.  The food isn't particularly special or very good.  The prices aren't over the top, but they don't match the quality of their food either.
There are far better places for pizza.  Their actual Italian food is mid-grade at best.
A tip to those ordering a salad:  Get your dressing on the side, unless you like wilted greens drowned in 1/2 a cup of oil/vinegar.
The food/service and occasional parking frustration don't warrant dining in, and with so many better places making better pizza, it really doesn't warrant delivery.
If I lived locally–within walking distance–it might be a decent place to grab a slice, but even then I'd consider other options.

  2. Ordered delivery for a couple of pies and some salad.

Food was a little late but was decent. The crust was a good thickness, neither too thin or too thick and had plenty of toppings.

    Would order from here again.

  3. My boyfriend and I love this place. Their food is consistently good. We especially are obsessed with their vodka pizza and crostini diparma… Out of control how good it is!! Yumm..

  4. Decent food. Nothing special, just basic italian food.

Not really much to say about them….

  5. I've been eating food from Fortissimo for over ten years and it is consistently very good.  Both the takeout and restaurant service are excellent. While their pizza is average, their dinner entrees such as chicken marsala, gnocchi sorrentina and salads are very good.  Their wait staff is always friendly and service is quick. They also have some healthy sandwiches on their takeout  menu. A good neighborhood place.

  6. Like many others, I grew up going to this place when it was the Pleasantdale Pizzeria and have many fond memories from 'back in the day'. Putting all that aside, I've still gotta say that the upscale change was definitely a marked improvement. They've maintained the quality food with a nicer touch. Their menu is plentiful and has all of the main Italian-American dishes (pizzas, pastas, subs, etc…) along with a healthier fare section. Their pizzas are still great and some of the better ones around. When you eat in you get a basket of garlic bread and garlic knots along with a rather generous dish of tapenade. We went in as a group of four and all had rather large meals and full bellies. Two of us had large salads which were a good portion with fresh lettuce and veggies, one person had the homemade gnocchi which was fantastic and the other had a wrap which was on the large size and packed with flavor. It's definitely a spot to return to and one I'd recommend if you're in the area and looking for a good, basic meal.
