  1. Delicious and authentic!
Frank gets five stars in my book. Come here for really authentic Italian cuisine and an adorable, vintage-y decor.
Came with a group of 5 and we all got different pasta dishes that were all great. I ordered the ravioli of the day (potato and mushroom) and it was truly to die for. The atmosphere is cozy yet chic and the place is adorned with cute antique items and patterned tabletops.
Overall a nice, relaxed vibe for a dinner with friends, and certainly a place to take a date.

  2. We came here because the first reviewer gave a solid 5, and Franks did not disappoint!  We got the gnocchi and pappardelle and both were delicious.   The drinks menu was also pretty nice.  Would give this place 4.5, however had to critically appraise and agreed at 4 due to the bathroom situation. You know, it's a pretty bathroom, but very small.

  3. Sorry, but I didn't like the sticky tables and chairs. The pasta was undercooked. Not al dente. Actually undercooked. The salads were good and the service friendly. We tried it as an alternative to Risotteria Melotti around the corner, but I like the Risotteria better.

  4. I came here for Brunch. 9$ 3 for 1 drink special was excellent.  Some of the best breakfast I've had in a very long time. So Delicious! Cash only is the only bummer about this place.

  5. I visited this restaurant after hearing Chrissy Tiegen speak about it during an interview. Went to check it out and it was amazing! Arrived at about 3PM so we decided to order off the brunch menu. I had the French toast with the jam inside, amazing! My boyfriend had the steak and eggs and said he was surprised how good it was and it filled him up. I believe our bill came to $40 roughly. We also had the 3 for 1 mimosa special. This was a pleasant dining experience and so happy I went.

  6. The BEST Italian food in NYC…that is a BOLD statement I know, but it's my favorite! Anything on the special list is always delicious! My Favorites:
    TAGLIATELLE BOLOGNESE
    UNCLE TONY'S HANDMADE GNOCCHI
    Risotto-different specials
    Lasagne Verdi Bolognese
    Pappardelle

  7. Probably my favorite restaurant in New York, maybe on earth— Definitely my favorite Italian restaurant on the planet!  Any table or seat is an experience.  Not quiet- but NYC vibrant, authentic, and perfectly vibey.  I've sat by the exciting flaming kitchen, at the bar, or at a festive table. Black squid ink pasta= yes. Anything with "gravy"- yes. All YES.
