  1. Not too much to say about this spot except to say that it exists.

On a recent Saturday night it wasn't too crowded. The ambiance is dark, though relaxing. Beer / wine was something like $7 or $8. Not much to say, really. It's nice if you're in the area…

Cash only. Always an unnecessary obstacle.

  2. My bf, friend and her new guy all came here for brunch essentially so I could meet her new guy and do my duty as a friend and see if he seemed nice. For the record I approved.

So I've never gotten off at this subway stop believe it or not so it took me awhile to find this place, even though it was ridiculously close to the subway station, it's not my fault there was construction going on. Anyways once I found it the inside décor was dark… but there was an outside patio!!! So that's obviously where I sat. Their brunch deal was great, 13 bucks gets you an entree, a drink and coffee. So the good wasn't to die for, but it was good. I had the cajun chicken sandwich with a mimosa.

I think I'd come back here again, the patio was great and the food very reasonable. If you're planning to check it out don't forget to bring cash!!

  3. AMAZING brunch spot! At $13 you get to pick from a very decent variety of selections, plus it comes with one caffeinated beverage (coffee or Irish breakfast tea) AND one alcoholic beverage (bloody Mary or mimosa).

My friend had the eggs Benedict with a bloody Mary and a coffee, and I had the Harefield eggs with a coffee and an orange juice (I don't drink [anymore]). The coffee was just okay but hey, it was free, plus I had caffeinated on the way from Manhattan. The OJ was just okay too. The eggs were fantastic though! Perfectly poached, accompanied by delicious salmon, fresh fruit, and wonderful home fries.

We got a cute little table in the shade outdoors and just sat there for like, two hours, quatschen-ing (Denglisch). The service was fine and dandy.

I like that it's reasonably priced with reasonable portions rather than overpriced with enormous portions that you just end up taking home or overstuffing yourself with.

My friend had reminded me ahead of time that it was cash only, which helped a lot. There is an ATM on site, which some people were using – on my way to the bathroom I did not see that it was an ATM and stopped and asked the man hunched over it where the restroom was. He was like, uh, I don't know? and I said, wait, you don't work here, do you, and then sidled away real casual-like.

Anyhoo, yeah. Real close to the L at Graham Street and pretty darn wonderful.

  4. Love this bar.  It's perfect for meeting and chatting.  Good drinks, nice noise level you can hear over, space even on the weekend.  There's not really much you could do to improve it.  OK, you could make it smell like dynaco in bed stuy.  I havent tried the food.

  5. $13 brunch. Includes coffee & complimentary Mimosa or Bloody Mary.

We've had to wait maybe 10 minutes at most for a table, which is incredibly nice when dealing with a massive hangover.

This time I tried their amazing turkey burger and added on all the fixings (an extra $1 for each). Highly recommend especially since the turkey piece was so big that it spilled over the bun.

  6. Conveniently located very close to the Graham Street L stop. I went here with my sister for Sunday brunch. We arrived shortly after they opened and I'm glad we did because the place was pretty full by the time we were done eating.

The cash only brunch is VERY reasonably priced. Also, they serve huevos rancheros and leave the hot sauce on the table — so that's 3 wins in my book.

My only complaint is that the mimosas that accompanied our brunch entrees arrived in miniature champagne flutes, so they definitely aren't full-sized. We also weren't offered refills or additional cocktails (which I would have happily paid for), so that was kind of a bummer.

  7. Harefied Road is one of the best brunches I've had. You first off can't beat the $13 deal that they offer. There's a bunch of different entree options and they all come with a coffee and alcoholic drink. I've tried the burger and Cobb salad when visiting.

The Cobb salad it excellent! My friend who regularly visits Harefield Road turned me on to this salad. I switch out the hard boiled egg for a poached egg… Great choice. I do have to say that I happen to love the iced coffee here too. It's just great coffee.

The one thing for me that is a little annoying is that Harefield Road is cash only, but at least they do have an atm inside. I would definitely recommend visiting Harefield road for brunch. I'm already thinking about the next time I'll be back!

  8. Just updating my review because i finally had the chance to try out their food. I went for the brunch menu this past sunday and the food was great! You recieve a drink choice with every entree ordered. the mimosa glasses were tiny but was made strong. The service was attentive and everyone looked happy to work there. I noticed they had a cute little backyard. they did close down the extra room in the back due to the construction so the place is now almost half its original size. will defintiely return to try their lunch/dinner menu.
