J's is your bland, run-of-the-mill liquor store. They have the booze you expect them to have, no more, and maybe a bit less. The prices are about in line with everything else in DUMBO (moderately expensive). The owner is there to answer your questions, but he certainly isn't volunteering any help or a smile.
If I lived in DUMBO, I would reluctantly pick up a bottle here on the way home from the F Train, because I'm too lazy to go out of my way to find better prices, and a better selection.
But I don't live in DUMBO, so I just reluctantly picked up a handle of Tito's ($36 with tax) on the way back to the F Train, because I was too lazy to go out of my way to find better prices, and a better selection.
i like this place; stop by sometimes after yoga… I always see the same guy – he's super helpful, friendly and wipes down my bottles… I'm on here because I'm trying to figure out the store hours and more importantly, will it be open during blizzard Juno? I need to stock up!

This guy is always so very pleasant, helpful and on point with his wine selections!
The only downfall which is MY OWN is I never remember the nice wines he chooses for me. Dratsss!
