  1. Ok, so I got another allergic reaction  here (it must be the mango martinis), but I still enjoyed my birthday dinner at Kashi! I haven't done hibachi in a long time, so I figured I'd take a chance and make a reservation for the hibachi section. It was hard locating the restaurant at first and we actually drove by it, so look out for a building with blacked out windows that say Kashi in small letters. You drive around to a parking lot in the back (free parking Sundays and holidays, metered until 6pm the other days), and that's where you see the huge Kashi sign.I've never been to a Kashi location before, so I was impressed with how beautiful it is inside. They have a bar area with lounge seating and tables to the left, a sushi bar and additional table seating in the back, and the hibachi section is to the right.

Our waitress was very quick and our drinks came fast. In fact, the whole tone of our meal felt a little bit too rushed. Our soup and salads came out within 5 minutes of ordering, fine. Then our apps came out less than five minutes after getting our soup and salads. Our hibachi chef came and did his whole routine, squirting sake in your mouth and all that. Our meal was over in less than an hour! I get that they were interested in fast turnover, but I wanted to stay and enjoy our drinks and really taste the food, and I felt awkward doing that cuz our table cleared out so fast.

Veggie Pot stickers – Great, nothing out of the ordinary.
Rock shrimp tempura – not a fan of the sauce, spicy kick to it.
    Fried rice – Delicious!
Filet and chicken hibachi combo – Filet was amazing. I could have skipped the chicken as the steak was filling enough.
Seafood combo with scallops, lobster, and shrimp – by bf ate the whole thing so I'm guessing good? I'm not a fan of scallops and lobster so I didn't try them.
Mango martinis – literally deadly for me as I broke out in a rash all over, but they were delicious and strong.
    Sangria – skip it.
For 2 beers, 3 cocktails, 2 hibachi combos and 2 apps, it was a little under $130. Not bad, I'll be back!

  2. Enjoyed a lovely dinner here last week. We started off with drinks at the bar (wine). The bartender was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing.
We then dined in a booth and ordered the sweet sixteen roll and the ocean rainbow roll. The rolls were large, and very tasty.
The service was attentive and courteous.
Prices were very reasonable as well.

  3. I came here again for my friend Lauras birthday and IT WAS THE MOST INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD at a sushi place. Our cook named Kevin was absolutely incredible. He was so entertaining and so funny. He made us smile the whole night and made the night a night to remember. He was absolutely the best employee I have ever encountered and I give him kudos for making my friends bday memorable. The dj that night of December 5,2015 was incredible as well. He played throwbacks, current songs and everything you can think of. Kashi made my friends birthday incredible. Thanks so much

  4. This review is for Hibachi.

Came with a party of nine on a Saturday night so naturally it was pretty crowded (they take reservations, just make sure your entire party is there). There is a bar/lounge area while you wait.

Once seated, they will take your drink orders and eventually come around again to take your entree order (entree + rice (fried/brown)).
I ordered the angus steak medium rare and it was just right!

The chef was great. Very entertaining performance and engaging. There is a sauce bottle filled with sake that he offered around about three times the entire night (its fun, trust me).

The service here was friendly and given the high demand they did a decent job in terms of speed.

Parking may be a bit of a hassle once meters go out of effect after 6PM but there is always a valet service.

  5. The food here is very good.  From what I understand the suishi was good.  I usually have chicken teryaki in these type of restaurants.  It is a little pricey.

  6. Great Asian Fusion restaurant which allows one to decide if they would like Hibachi style dinning or table booth setting. The atmosphere was very trendy. The setting could make for a romantic evening or a family celebration. There is plenty  of seating so don't worry. They offer happy hour Monday thru Friday. Nothing like discounted Saki and Sushi. The rolls are amazing try at least three, seriously! The customer service was good and food even better!

  7. My husband and I found this place on Google. We weren't looking for a hibachi place but definitely sushi. Overall prices were a little bit high but the food quality was up to par!

  8. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile now. I finally went in last Thursday to order takeout and the inside of the restaurant looks like a nightclub. It's beautifully decorated, spacious and their menu is full of variety. Great sushi is hard to find in New York, but this restaurant surpasses my expectations. The staff was also very kind and helpful when I had questions about the menu. I highly recommend the Kashi King and American Dream roll.
