  1. This place is legit!… I loved it the first time that I went back the following day. Hummus is super fresh and give a huge portion. The chicken kabob and kufta pita sandwiches were packed with flavor and super inexpensive. Falafels were crispy and not overly greasy which is hard to find. Ordered a few more items, lehugmune (no idea on spelling) Greek salad, buffalo wings and everthing tasted great and had not one complaint which is hard for me. Ask for side of their homemade hot sauce, it's bomb!. Great place for takeout with  resonance prices.

  2. good for falafel mostly , like it if you are on the go run by an Israeli-Egyptian duo. have different shawarma, depends on the day of the week. however the pita served with the sandwich was too thick and chewy, ask for a classic thin pita. Excellent carrot juice to down the chick peas..

  3. King Falafel continues to impress with delicious food, that I actually think has gotten tastier over time.  Service has improved greatly since my initial visit, and ownership remains warm, caring, and friendly to patrons.  Had their baklava for the first time; not usually a fan, but this version is not as soaked in honey and sugar as others, plus has a nice floral note.  Delicious.  Glad to have found this place; some of the best Middle Eastern food around.

  4. While sitting in my friends backyard yesterday by the pool around 1:30 pm we were getting hungry so I looked on yelp for something other than our usual italian subs and pizza and low and behold King Falafel popped up with my bookmark. We looked over the menu and being that I LOVE middle eastern food and falafel in general I was elected to order for the group!

I decided on a large fatoush salad, falafel, lebneh, fries, toasted pita chips, pita bread, 2 chicken schwarma sandwiches and 1 lamb schwarma sandwich. I asked the man taking my order on the phone if he could have the driver call my cell phone when he arrives being we are in the back yard by the pool if he were to ring the door bell I would of never heard him.

After about 20 mins I heard the dogs barking and low and behold there was the driver about to call my cell. The food was hot and fresh when it arrived. My fatoush salad was a big hit with my friends along with everything else I ordered. The falafel were large and flavorful with garlic and parsley I loved them. The lebneh was so refreshing and even my friends niece loved it, she was dipping everything in it. The schwarma sandwiches were amazing, the chicken was overflowing with tender meat and Israeli salad. The lamb schwarma was really tasty and flavorful and the bread was the bomb. I love when the bread is soft sometimes you get pita that is a little harder and its not as enjoyable.

I'm so excited I found another spot to cure my falafel cravings! Can't wait to come back!

  5. I ordered take out from here for lunch. One of my colleagues picked it up so I can't address the restaurant itself. I had the chicken kebab sandwich ($5.99) with hummus (+ 50 cents) and it $6.49 well spent! The sandwich was hearty, tons of veggies and nice chucks of chicken. The pita was warm and fluffy, the hummus was the icing on the cake and tied it all together. The next time someone in my office wants to get lunch from here, I will be the first to say "I'm in!"

  6. Owner is awesome and really gives this place some charm. He makes you feel like you're family and is very proud of what he serves.

Falafel is great and topped with the spicy green sauce and tahini is awesome.

It's mainly a take out place but they do have a bunch of indoor and outdoor seating.

Can't wait to go back and try their meat options.

  7. Been here twice, first time I was picking up (food took forever to come out, about 20 mins despite a small order) and second time I had delivered to my job (ordered more this time around due to $15 minimum and came in exactly 15 mins..). Both times the food was mediocre at best and the second time actually destroyed my stomach (which is as battle-tested against all kinds of food as the Spartans are against a Persian army). There are much better options further down Route 46, onto Crooks Ave, and into South Paterson.

  8. Just ordered from them, their food is awesome!  This is real Arabic food! The taste is so flavorful, and I love the rice with the vermicili in it. I forgot what it's called in Arabic but oh man so yummy! And the best part is the chicken was perfectly cooked unlike some other places I have reviewed recently. My new go to spot for Arabic!
