  1. There's nothing more important than having a good local Chinese restaurant. This one is the best! King Chef is located in the Whitestone Village shopping center. Everything we have ordered has been fantastic. Not salty, not greasy, always perfect. We never have to wait too long for our food to be ready. They have great portion sizes. I get 2 meals out of it. They are on the expensive side but the food is good so it's worth it to us. You can eat in the restaurant but we always order take it. I rarely see anyone eating there. Our usual order is chicken with broccoli, fried pork dumplings and Sesame chicken with white meat only. The wonton soup is so yummy especially on a warm cold day. You may think it's just wonton soup but trust me I have had some really bad inedible wonton soup from other restaurants. This one is good!

  2. Please do yourself a favor and just keep driving or walking past this place.

So many Cons and literally no pros.

Number one, they are EXTREMELY pricey to just be a regular neighborhood Chinese restaurant. I'm talking about 7 dollars for 4 chicken wings, 9 dollars for a SMALL chicken and broccoli and 13 dollars for a large. Seriously?

The only reason why I didn't cancel my order was because it was already made and I'm not that grimey. I spent almost 20 dollars and I'm so upset.

I was in such a rush that I didn't come on Yelp and read my fellow Yelpers reviews. My punishment.

To make it worse, the food is gross. I've never tasted this taste in any chinese food in my whole 26 years of life!!!!

Worse place ever. Please stay away

  3. I'll give them four stars for how clean their kitchen is.  It's rare to find a Chinese restaurant to have a clean kitchen.  Well, clean in general…

I ordered a combination of Hunan beef with chicken lo-mein (I didn't want the pork fried rice this time) and I got their honey boneless spare ribs.  The beef and lo-mein was pretty good!  The spare ribs were okay but I ended up throwing the leftovers away.  It had a lot of fat.  Darn… I should have ate it while it was still warm! lol
