  1. I've been here twice and I Over-ordered each time. However, the food was pretty good.
I got Quesadillas ( carnitas w/cheese) and 3 Tostadas( 1 carne & 2 Chicken)  The Chicken and Pork are very very good.
The TV is playing soccer, and it's pretty relaxed in here…I wish they had Beer, but they let me drink my own ( dont know about BYOB policy, I was discreet but not secret squirrel)
cash only as far as I can tell
My wishes:  Water for the table, the chairs aren't super comfy ( but im fat, my fault????) and I cant guage when they actually open in the daytime.. Id like to be able to order Breakfast Huevos delivery style yo
Otherwise,  decent local mexican sit down or take out, affordable in my mind.

  2. I was hesitant to try this place because of the reviews here but figured it was worth trying to avoid the far trek to sunset park for my beloved tostadas. I tried coming on Saturday night but they weren't taking orders because of a private party there so I tried again on Sunday night. I'm glad I got my family to eat dinner here last night because this turned out to be a nice Mexican spot that's close by. The decor is nice and it's true that most of the patrons seem to be Mexican/Spanish guys but I felt very comfortable here despite that. we weren't seated promptly upon entering and had to stand around for a bit before the one waitress came over but she was nice about putting together tables for us (there were 7 of us as usual). We started off with free tortilla chips with guacamole. It's true the guacamole was watery but it's nice that they serve free chips and though it was bland, we finished it off quickly, especially with the kids vying for them. The service was kind of slow since there is only one waitress and there seemed to be a lot of orders coming in for take-out but the food didn't take as long to come as we though it would. I split the tostadas (comes with 3), a cemita on torta bread, and eggs with bistec with my boyfriend, while my sister had the baked chicken platter, my mom had a shrimp taco, and my brother-in-law had the grilled goat platter. My sister liked her dish though the chicken was very salty. My brother-in-law liked his as well, though the goat looked more like it was baked than grilled. my mom preferred my tostadas to the taco since she prefers a crunchy shell and doesn't liek cilantro. I thoroughly enjoyed the tostadas and have now found a new spot closer to home to get these delicious tacos (open-faced crunchy shell piled with beans, meat, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and cheese). Though I ordered too much, I finished everything because I couldn't bear the idea of wasting yummy food. My favorite was the carne enchilada, followed by chicken, then steak. The steak and eggs were delicious too and it came with rice, beans, tortilla wraps (as all platters did), and three tortilla chips. the cemita (made on torta bread because they had no more cemita bread) was very spicy for me and not very good but maybe the torta on torta bread is better. All in all, we will definitely return or order from here if we want Mexican food.

  3. Always walk past this restaurant on way to work.  Decided to buy some take out lunch from here. The inside decor looks decent, kind of remind you of being in mexico like those villas.  Their menu is not too big, ordered 2 tacos one chicken and one beef. Also had a platter that consisted of 3 corn tortilla with chicken, rice and a side salad.  Didn't take too long for the food to be ready.  The chicken taco was not as good as the beef taco.  The chicken taco and then tortilla with chicken was a little tasteless.  The beef taco was better but there were some pieces of beef that was a little too chewy.

Their ingredients didn't taste as fresh as other mexican restaurant but there are not many in the area.  Their prices are also a little higher than other mexican restaurant
