  1. Pretty solid diner.  I was totally impressed that they had my NJ special Taylor Ham.  I mean honestly it's pretty tough to screw up breakfast, so this place was fine.  Easy to get to, looks clean.  The pancakes were really good, as was the Taylor Ham.  Other than that a standard diner.

  2. "One if by land, Two if by sea" signifies Paul Revere's instructions to send a signal by lantern to alert 17th century colonists in Charlestown, Boston, MA the movements of British troops entering and besieging Boston.  One lantern in the steeple would signal the army's choice "by land" route while two lanterns would signal the route "by water" across the Charles River; the movements would ultimately take the water route, and therefore two lanterns were placed in the steeple. — Source Wikipedia

A family friendly seafood, American diner set in a pirate, marooned on a island theme.  Early morning before the start of a business day breakfast in the Bronx summons one to eat their fill.  The outdoor folding signage entice me for breakfast- one egg (any style), home fries, toast with grape jelly (not butter), juice or coffee (no option for tea) for $4.40.  Service is quick since there were very few patrons, but the vibe from the staff appears non-connecting and dismissive.  Quality of food is mediocre.  The orange juice is freshly squeezed and contains lots of pulp.  A business card and takeout menu are available for grabs.  Both the business card and takeout menu states this business is located in Riverdale, Bronx but actually it sits in Kingsbridge, Bronx.
