Little kiosk that just popped up in the Staten Island Mall surprisingly delivers with some tasty macarons!
Of the ones I sampled cookies and cream definitely stood out the most. I've never seen a stark black macaron before which was intriguing (and a bit scary). The flavor was reminiscent of an Oreo, which was nice to taste in macaron form. Least favorite was the coffee–the filling was way too strong.
Overall, worth the money for a nice treat and impressive considering it's location.
This cute stand arrived at the mall a couple months ago and i finally decided I have to try it out.
At first glance i was amazed at all the different flavors and how they were lined perfectly in the cases. I was super taken back at how expensive one small macaron was. (2.75) We opted to try 6 of them.(16.00) 2 vanilla (the girl said it was really good) a coconut, peanut butter, nutella, salted caramel. We tried them all and thought the coconut was the best. It wasnt to sweet or sticky like the rest of them. The down fall to these macarons they were overfilled with gooey, sweet fillings. If I would go back I would go just go for the coconut. The staff is really nice and very helpful.
