  1. Thoroughly unpleasant experience. The food does not taste like authentic Colombian food. It tastes like authentic oil grease. The service is bad, and the servers seem to occupy themselves with doing everything but attending to their tables. Not to mention, my mother and I got upset stomachs shortly after. You decide!

  2. Food was great. Portions were really big. If I was a local, I would definitely come back here. I had their "typical plate" and everything was good.

  3. I haven't been here in a while. They extended their location and now includes a bar. Staff is friendly and you barely wait for the food to be served. Anything on the menu is tasty. I saw a variety on all the tables surrounding us. Come hungry!

  4. My favorite Latin place to eat. There usually is a line to be seated on Sunday's but I don't even care about the wait. The place is so worth it. They prices are more than great for the amount of food! I love everything on the menu. You literally leave so full. They have columbian sodas which are the best. Parking is easily accessible and wait staff is quick.

  5. This place claims to have the "Best Colombian Food on Long Island," and honestly, they might be right. This spot lives up to the hype. Located in Hempstead, not the nicest towns, it's not a place you would think to go to, however if you do you'll be happy you did. It also has locations in Suffolk County in Brentwood and Patchogue, but I have never been to those. It is the epitome of the 3 most important things to me while dining out, fair prices, good portion and most importantly…tastes great. It has all these things. It has a plethora of meat and seafood dishes. Everything comes with rice and beans or French fries and their sangria is amazing. I've dined here with 4 people and ordered entrees and drinks and only paid 40 something dollars. We had fish, breaded chicken, rice and beans, French fries and sangria. You can't beat that for the price. Check this spot out, you won't regret it.

  6. Came here for dinner with my family and i had a great experience. I came here on a Tuesday night so it wasn't too crowded and not too empty. I had the bandeja de pollo al carbon which was so good! Its just a bargain! It comes with soup, salad, chicken, rice and beans. Its to die for! My father ordered the chicken consome which is great. My sister ordered the pechuga de pollo (breaded). It came with a great tartar sauce which was so amazing. I would recommend this place. Its better than the pollos mario down the block.

  7. Only had the Bandeja (Typical Platter) and it is some of the best Colombian food I have eaten in a long time.  This is coming from a Colombian who has been eating at Colombian restaurants all his life.
The steak was seasoned to perfection and not overcooked, the rice was just right, which means not bland,
I will definitely come back and try other things.

PS  A packed parking lot is a good sign of good food
