  1. Great take on Peruvian Ceviche in Gansevoort market located in the meatpacking district. It can definitely compete against the other Peruvian ceviches in NYC such as Raymi. 5 stars to the freshness of the fish (halibut this time), quality of the lime juice, add-ons to accentuate the ceviche. I even drank the ceviche juice called leche de tigre. It really awakened my senses. Then I got to see the crew explaining to an elderly customer what ceviche was. Priceless. They delivered the message. She bought one shrimp ceviche (my next one on the list). Score. Needless to say the service was very friendly and personalized. The price was a bit much for the amount of halibut on the plate maybe they could work on that. Otherwise a nice ceviche stand that has been pleasing the palate of the meatpacking district for a little over 2 months now. I have to come back.

  2. Love.
I came with the boy and it was like, real ceviche. In a stall. In the middle of the market. Near the highline.

    Jackpot.

Love love love this place. Extremely fresh and flavourful fish and sauce, with all the real fixins like sweet potato and corn kernels, with just enough lime. I don't know what else to tell you. Any of the three ceviche options will be prime I promise. Great fish to stuff ratio, great sauces (I drank the dredges from the bowl) and at the end of the day, just great quality stuffs.

The drinks are totally variable to taste. Do what you feel man. Do what you feel.

All I want to say, is give this place a try, it's amazing. Grab a bowl, grab a friend –

(in my case, the boy, it was adorable and romantic and we split two types of ceviche and two types of drinks (the homemade ginger ale = not too sweet and kind of awesome with the ceviche) we took the bowls, and found a seat on the highline, and it was kind of an amazing date)

    – and then either eat in the market (crowded, but tons of cute tables) or take a little walk and sit somewhere gorgeous outside. I promise you you wont regret it.
