The founder of the original Nathan's Famous, Nathan Handwerker, would roll in his grave if he ever knew how bad these versions of his hot dogs tasted. For those familiar with the Coney Island version, avoid this location at the Cheesequake Travel Plaza at all costs.
The prices are super expensive ($9.80 for a Corn Dog meal?!) and the food is a disgrace. Hot Dog lovers beware, the sausages are dry and have no flavor and their corn dogs are small, nearly qualifying as a minidog. Speaking of mini-dogs, they have them in packs of 10-15 and are surprisingly decent while bundled with a heap of crinkled chunky fries. Overall, the service is slow and is not worth waiting in line for this stomach punishing, disgusting version of Nathan's.
