“My favorite meal is the 2 pork chops with pork fried rice with no vegetables combination.”

“Even though Brooklyn's Chinatown is only three avenues up, you sometimes want general tso's chicken sauce drenched all over your plantains.”

“Also the ice tea here is really sweet but devilishly addictive.”

  1. Ah this place is so throw back for me, it's okay food it's like a blend of Spanish / Chineese food. Very very big portions.

There ice tea is bomb good.

Always busy here tables are always filled, the prices are cheap an you get a lot of food for your money.
Not bad when craving some china Rican food lol

Hate their grade in the window though definitely irks me, which is why I haven't been back.

  2. Pork chops and plantains were amazing here, if a bit pricey for my liking {$10.40, but oh well!}. Service was quick and the wait staff is great.

  3. Man, where do I start?  Their menu consists of standalone Latino and Chinese food.  The food is amazing and the portions are large. The prices are very affordable. Most of the staff are Chinese folks who lived in Latin America, so their Spanish skills are pretty good. I can totally relate. You'll see regulars coming in to dine and greet the staff in Spanish.

I chose the arroz con pollo (chicken with yellow rice).  Cool thing is that there are olives in it, adding to the taste. I also chose the tostones, which are fried, crushed plantains. The food really is amazing.  This food beats any 5-Star restaurant any day. Highly recommend this place. Hands down one of the best restaurants in Sunset Park.

  4. I was a bit skeptical on going to eat here since most places that are fusion cuisine does either both mediocre or just really bad.  I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. They served the regular take out Chinese fare but with a Spanish twist. The menu is both in English and in Spanish which was nice. Although, I did take Spanish for 13 years and all I know is Hola! So, I had to stick to the English portion. I ordered the Chicken and Broccoli, Plantains with Chicken Fried Rice along with an order of fried shrimp. The food came out super quick. I felt like I didn't even have time to put down the menu. Although, they did put a bread basket in front of me, so I could be exaggerating on the time it took.  'The fried shrimp were decently size [around the size of my thumb] and was not the typical baby shrimp, they usually serve at the take out joints. For my entree, I got a huge heaping of rice, chicken, broccoli and plantains. My friend had gotten the General Tso instead of the Chicken and Broccoli and my fork kept mysteriously ending up in her plate. Also, 10 minutes in and I was regretting ordering an app and entree. I was beyond full but kept eating out of greed. But the good thing was they were more than happy to package up my leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Overall, it is a nice place with good homey food that doesn't leave one feeling icky and overstuffed after eating. It also helps that the food doesn't cost much more than take out does normally.
