  1. Came to this place for lunch. This place is very veryy small. You can have your sushi made or get some of the premade sushi from the fridge. We wanted something a little more quick so we got some from the fridge. We got two to-go sushi containers each, they were $10 each. The sushi wasn't anything special, I mean what do you expect from premade sushi but for 4 containers and 2 drinks. It was $50 dollars. The sushi was not even close to worth that amount of money. You're better off going to one of the other restaurants in the plaza where you can get more food for cheaper.

  2. I hate being disappointed by a restaurant serving mediocre food.  I hate it even more when that food is sushi.  I know not every place can excel at this staple of Asian cuisine.  But at least attempt to make an effort in making it delicious.  I don't mean you have to have Nakazawa level sophistication but do provide fresh food to hungry customers.  I happened to be one of those hungry customers who came in after watching a movie next door.  I have to say that even though I was starving, I was very reluctant to finish the rolls in front of me.  That is sad to say because I never want sushi to go to waste but after trying a ridiculous number of places that have served way better sushi than what I got, I am compelled to call this place out on it.  The fish and sauces that day did not go well together.  Tasting a piece of salmon from the roll by itself I could tell it was not fresh.  Perhaps that is why the heavy amount of sauce on top was present to try to mask the lack of freshness.  Well it didn't work.  The scallions inside the Secaucus Roll were heavy handed and the rice was not well packed.  It fell apart the second a chopstick touched it.  The House Special Volcano Roll did not have any exploding flavor that the name would have you thinking.  It was, for lack of a better word, bland.  It says they put chili sesame oil on it but all I got was a hint of spice.  Not the "Volcano" effect I was expecting.  I am not presuming to be a trained culinary artist or critic but my palate is developed.  I know when sushi is good and I know when sushi is not good.  Unfortunately for Niko Niko Sushi I've clearly had better.  That's why a two star is all that I can muster giving this business.

  3. My first three star review. This place isn't a restaurant, more of a stop and go, or pick up establishment. I mean you can stay and eat but it doesn't have a restaurant feel.

I've been coming to Niko Niko for years. I usually come here if I want to get something quick or take it back home. The sushi is good but not fantastic. I suggest getting the roles or the noodles.

I like this place but it doesn't wow me usually. It's the only sushi spot in town. I usually go to another county to get better quality and better tasting sushi. I'll keep coming back when I need my fix!

  4. For sure one of the best, tiny sushi places I know. As I have to stay mostly out here when I do business in NYC , as my boss doesn't pay the hotels in the city this is my favorite alternative to the expensive sushi places in the city.
The place is really small I think it seats 7 people , I guess most people take it to go.
They have a great variety of soups with udon or soba noodles and many sushi rolls, also sashimi rice bowls Japanese snacks and drinks.
I am here about two times a year and I always had great service and fresh tasting sushi. I ll be back for sure!

  5. they sell teas' tea latte for 3.50. makes mitsuwa's sound like a 99 cent store.

  6. Tiny little sushi place inside Harmon Meadow.

For what it is, a super quick sushi place, it was OK.  Not the best sushi I've ever had, not the worst.

Fast and friendly service, I was in, ate and left in 20 minutes or so.

Pricing was normal, some items a little less than I expected, some items a little more than I expected.

I'd go back but wouldn't go out of my way to get there.
