  1. Very impressed with Orange Grill!
The food, presentation,, service, and entertainment were all great!
There was a massive amount of food at my sister in law's birthday party-sushi, foie gras, seafood, meats..everything.
Everything was served in a beautiful manner.
The servers were all attentive and quick!
Many people have told me there isn't entertainment here and there's no real dance floor but there were singers and performers and there was plenty of room to shake your groove thang (if you want).
I don't know if I would come back here for a casual night out as it's really loud but a great spot for a group.

  2. This place is great. I've been here quite a few times already, maybe 20 and it's always good. The sushi is awesome! The rest of he food is always different and always good. The service is great and the owner is extremely friendly and nice. It's fairly small for a Russian restaurant but I like it, it's different from the other ones.

  3. Came here few times: one of many of my business meetings and just another day, a private party in their private room in the back.  The business meetings were ok: by that I mean, the seating for us was adequate and no one felt crammed.  The food was unique and I did not appreciate their choices to pair savory with sweet ingredients.  One very irritating remembrance that I acquired is that once they start to play music in the main room, it gets extremely loud in the private room (hence, not so private).  During both the meetings and my private party, trying to hear anyone speak was a real struggle and not appreciated that at all.  Our business group was the only people (besides the staff) in the place, yet the management insisted on playing music so loud, without lowering it, even after multiple complains were aired by the only paying customers…strange.  For all of these visits, one surprising thing to see and taste was that they food was exactly the same. At least some variety wouldn't hurt, if the chef(s) do not taste their strange and inedible creations.  Plus, the music choices that they had were not very great, considering they also want to be seen as a lounge of some sort.
The good thing about coming here on a Sunday (family gathering) is that parking was a blast.  No cars around and Sunday parking in BK is free, yay!

  4. Came here many times and just recently had my own birthday here. This place stands out from any another other Russian restaurant. Their food is exceptionally good, especially their sushi and seafood dishes. The music is also great, it gets everyone dancing throughout the night.

  5. I've only been to Orange Grill for a birthday party on a Saturday night. Food was plentiful, their strength is definately in the banquet appetizers. My only complaint is regarding the music, or rather how LOUD the music is. It's so loud in fact that I come out with ringing ears and I definately cannot hold a conversation with a person sitting right next to me because that requires yelling…REALLY LOUD YELLING. I think venue caters to a younger crowd for their Fri/Sat night party because when I was there there were a lot of drunken 18 year olds celebrating their birthday. Overall, would never host my own event here or come here against my will on a weekend. Perhaps the best bet is to come on a quiet aftenoon for some allegedly good sushi.

  6. THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE IN MY WHOLE LIFE!  NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN!

I got a gift certificate to eat here from my sister, so I came with my boyfriend and my PR gal pal.  So I thought, why not use it for all three of us?  I had noooo idea what a crappy expensive dinner this was gonna be.

First off…We were demanded to take our coats off and put them in coat check; to get your coat back, it was $2.  I didn't want to check my coat.  We sit down at the table and the prices were just outta control!  A complete rip off!  If I didn't have the certificate, I would've walked out.  We had to track down our waiter for everything…even place settings!  But, we all noticed that their Russian patrons were having no problem whatsoever for attention.  I have plenty of Russian friends, so I'm not being bitter, but telling the truth.  We were very obviously being ignored.

    Gift Certificate: $50
    Coat Check: $2
    Total Bill: $125
    Tip: $0

They should've paid ME to eat here!  What crap!

  7. I came here to celebrate a double birthday, I made the arrangements about one month in advance, and they took their time to explain and breakdown the banquet menus. I was interested in this place mostly because the menu is distinctly different than the typical Russian/Ukrainian style restaurant, but also because it is a smaller venue which offers a more intimate setting.

When we came in our table was beautifully set up with appetizers ready to go. The huge dishes of sushi and other large plates were manhandled by the very capable servers. They were always available and knew when you wanted to something, and they expertly served each person with precision and manners. I couldn't ask for better service. This is what we paid for.

On to the music: The DJ was pretty good, and took my request to play a song by Prince (When Dove's Cry) which really made my night after being subjected to unspeakably horrible, outdated and garishly loud live dance music.

Around midnight, a pretty cool shirtless yoga type dude set up on the dance floor for some entertainment. He started by breaking 6-7 empty glass bottles onto a rug then proceeded to walk, lay down and roll around on it. There was a lot more he did, but I don't want to give away too much of his act. He was in excellent shape and was very serious about his art.

I am unsure whether or not the bathroom story-telling audio was a joke or not. But there was a strange tale about a prince being told in the ladies bathroom. .. ?? It was pretty clean, though.

Overall it was a pretty fun and hilarious evening. We shut the place down at 3!

  8. Came here for a kid birthday party on a Sunday evening. First thing I see are the cool decorations. I don't know if it's part of the restaurant but very nice.  It was a banquet so there was food on food on food. It was endless. Everything I tried was really good. It also had very nice presentation. Sushi. Potatoes. Steak. Lobster. Fondue. Everything was delicious. The waiters were also very attentive. They came and switched out plates very often. Only thing I thought was weird was the bathroom. It was 1 women's bathroom but there were 2 toilets inside without stalls, not sure I understand that but it's ok.
