  1. Came here during lunch the other day. Ordered a prosciutto sandwich.

The bread was stale. They gave you one slice of prosciutto. Old arugula, and shredded parmesan. This was really disgusting.I never thought you could mess up a sandwich, but apparently I was very wrong.

That and it was the biggest waste of $8 in my life.

  2. Call me stupid, but I didn't think this place was all that bad. Of course all I had was pasta salad and a snapple green tea…but the basil in the pasta salad was super fresh and flavorful.

After eating lots of good stuff elsewhere during the day, I didn't have much more of an appetite, so a pasta salad was all I picked up on the way to my train back to New Haven. Plus it was not exorbitantly expensive either.

IMO not a bad find in the GCT food court.

  3. This was one of the few sandwich places that was reasonably priced, comparatively speaking.  They have a nice selection of paninis and pasta side salads–my Italiano Due tasted fine.  A friend at out table had the Rustico (decent, but she said the bread did not seem as fresh as it could have been).

  4. Surprised at the reviews. I thought the panini here was amazing. I even went out of my way a second time to go here before I went back to Boston. I tried the Americano and the Capri and the bread is really what makes it so good. The cannoli was also really good. Minestrone soup was good but had too much broth, not enough veg in the cup. The pesto tortellini salad was ok but a little dry, as pasta salads tend to get in the fridge. If they added more red peppers and cheese it would be better. Will definitely come here again next time I am in NY
