  1. I found a recipe for sea bass that I just had to try and I surely wasn't going all the way to Fairway on a weekday for a piece. When I checked yelp (which I now obsessively check before I go anywhere for the first time smh) I saw both Ocean and Park Slope Seafood got similar reviews and were a block apart. I went back and forth and could not decide which one to go to so I decided to let fate decide. I passed Ocean by accident and when I pulled in to make a U-turn, I noticed I was parked right in front of Park Slope Seafood. Fate felt strongly about this one I guess.

When I went inside the store itself was clean and neat. The seafood looked fresh and the nice fishmonger (do people still use this term?) answered all my annoying questions about various fish and serving sizes and all that. Why was I asking about other fish when I went in there to buy sea bass? I don't know I guess I just got excited by all the fresh fish and almost burst into song like that one pound fish guy on youtube. But I digress. I ended up getting the sea bass and it was delicious! So tender and fresh. I know where I'm getting my seafood from from now on. I won't give it 5 stars until I've bought from there some more.
