  1. Ok, so it had been a while since Thanee Thai became Port Thai Place.  Not too fond of my past experience with the previous place, I held off from giving Port Thai Place a chance.  Bored and wanting to try something spicy, I decided why not, hence I found myself opening the door to this little Thai Cuisine haven.

A small cozy restaurant located in Port Washington certainly does not disappoint when it comes to some great Thai Food.   Up until a couple of years ago, I never was a fan of Thai food, till i came across one of the best thai places I'd been to anywhere, which was located in Maine, hence finding something around here, still remained a challenge.

The menu has plenty to offer from their appetizers, soups, and salads to curries, noodles, and rice with each being offered with different meat and vegetable options.  One advice I can offer for certain is that all the food not only cooked fresh, but is cooked with precision, hence expect PROLONGED WAIT Times.  Originally, that was a major turn-off for me until I tried the food and realized each bite of each dish was well worth the wait.

A quick glance at the menu, we decided on the following dishes:
Appetizers Thai Spring Rolls, Shrimp in a blanket
Entrees  Green Curry Rice with Shrimp and the infamous Drunken Noodles with Shrimp, Chicken, and Beef. Along with a side of Coconut Sticky Rice.

Every single item was cooked to near-perfection and the the flavors were so divine, if I could savor each fork movement, this meal could last longer than the time it took to be prepared.  The seasonings were perfect and everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and absolutely phenomenal.  I definitely can't wait to go back and enjoy some amazing Thai food and make up for lost time.

A must accompaniment to any Thai cuisine = Thai Iced Tea, which too was made perfectly, not too watered down and not too sweet.

A POSITIVE Experience and a must check out place for Thai Food Lovers…
