Haven't eaten inside the restaurant yet, but I order delivery from them probably once a week on average. The sushi is always fresh, soup always hot and delicious, and the order comes insanely fast!
The lunch combo is awesome – $8 for two rolls and soup or salad? Can't be beat in this city.
Good Seamless choice, the Crispy Banana Shrimp Roll could easily be a dessert. Good sesame noodles too (not spicy, though).
Potluck makes an attempt to not fall into the typical Americanized-Chinese fast food restaurant category by spending time on a little bit nicer interior & exterior, fancier fonts & more superficial appearance stuff, but the food quality still remains the same as others basically.
Their menu items are extremely well-priced for the Chelsea area & I think it is so sweet of them to not charge me extra for brown rice. I like ordering their sesame chicken combo lunch (about $8) or their broccoli with brown sauce (I think this was $6, an option I save for my "healthier" days).
Service is hit or miss, I've had some really nice and attentive people take care of me when I go and then there have been some crabby patties. Highly recommend doing takeout versus dining in.
