  1. Definitely my favorite sushi place in the city!!

A friend took me here a few years ago and I fell in love with their sweet potato tempura roll. Very affordable– you can add a large bowl of rice to your order for about a dollar! The sushi is all delicious and very fresh. I've not ordered online from here yet, I always eat in. The space is very small but cozy and usually not too crowded. I'm a big fan!

  2. Quan Sushi is a tiny little shop.  A group of five of us met there, and we practically took up the entire room.  However, as we were the only people there at 2:30 on a Saturday, the waitress pulled another table over for us, which was super nice.

Quan has a lunch special of 2 rolls, salad, and miso soup for $8.75, a reasonable price, but after seeing the past Yelp reviews, I wish it was still $7.  The actual sushi was pretty whatever.  I got a california roll and a spicy salmon roll.  They spicy salmon roll had no spicy, and the california roll was really mild.  Not bad but not amazing.  However, they did have some unique rolls I had never seen before.

Overall, Quan Sushi is fine if you're in the area, but it's not worth going out of your way to try it.

  3. Fantastic fish!   Delicious rolls and a simple atmosphere.  Exceptional value as well.
Their Peppered Tuna roll was one of the best rolls I've had.

Now, the one bad thing is the rice was not rolled tight, nor were the rolls.  So dipping in soy was almost assuredly going to cause a crumbling of morsel of otherwise fresh goodness.

  4. Quan sushi is back in the sushi rotation!!!  The fish I got tonight was fresh and the rolls were flavorful and plump.  That amazing sushi chef is back!!!!  Everything is in alignment and my tastebuds and stomache are grateful for this heavenly sushi, sashimi and Hama macho that I always get.

Ever since I brought AG to eat sushi here, he basically always always ALWAYS wants to dine in when he's in the city.  He haS become a sushi fiend!! That's wsup.

This is a family owned establishment and quite small spacially but hey it works for now!  Super nice and friendly people inside, they definitely want you to have a pleasant dining experience.  They are cool peeps!

Eating in is pleasant and cozy but I hafta admit, I usually order delivery which consists of spicy salmon and philly roll with brown rice.  Sometimes I'll include an uni roll or uni sashimi, sashimi on the side, spinach balls or the hama machi.  These are my main betches but I do variate sometimes as pretty much everything tastes great here.  Yum mines!

This spot is quite the find and luckily I'm in close vicinity to them as they are a staple in my diet and weekly life.  Sometimes twice daily even.  Yes I'm a sushi fiend too.  True dat!

This sushi spot is spot on in freshness, speed of delivery, deliciousness factor and customer service!  It's easily a 5 star biznaz!!!  Although ever since Spring Natural has opened up again, it's going to be a tough choice in the upcomming days of my mortal life.  I'm on my organic veggie kick again but Quan is as close to a meat free meal as meat centric meals go.  Maybe I'll just flip a coin?!

  5. It's not amazing food nor amazing sushi.  But it's a great deal for the neighborhood around lunch time.  They have lunch specials under $10 with generous portions.

I usually get the Salmon Teriyaki lunch special which comes with salad, miso soup, and california roll for $8.50+tax.

  6. I gotta one-up my review and go full 5. I've become a true regular over the last 3 years, and I have to say this place is consistently outstanding with really fresh sushi. $11.50 for 3 rolls, soup and salad are a real win. Today's lunch just hit the spot and I had to revisit this review. Baruch Hashem, y'all!

  7. This is a tiny sushi bar. It's wonderful, fresh and great service. Fffff-resh fish Foodies! Yum!

  8. A friend of mine asked me to come out for lunch at Quan Sushi and also to catch up. I've probably walked by this tiny restaurant a dozen of times, but never noticed what it was until recently.

The restaurant is probably the smallest sushi/Japanese restaurant I've been to, but yet they are cranking a lot of food out of their shoe-box of a restaurant and still have customers coming in. The restaurant has limited seating, so I wouldn't recommend coming here with a big group.

We both did the lunch specials, but I got the any two rolls and my friend got the any three rolls. The lunch specials come with both soup and salad and any two rolls is: $7.75. It's slightly more expensive then any two rolls you would in my neighborhood.

The miso soup is good, nothing too outrageous or different. The salad was tasty and refreshing. For sushi rolls, I ordered the: shrimp tempura roll and salmon roll with crunchy. Two rolls was just enough for me! The shrimp tempura roll was delicious, crispy, and moist. The salmon roll was prepared fresh and delicious too. My friend ordered the any three rolls and even that was too much for her.

Overall, Quan Sushi is a small, simple, and has your typical sushi and Japanese bites you would find at a sushi restaurant. Not a bad place at all for solo dining or just for 2-3 people. The restaurant is quite quiet which is good for a simple meal for 2-3 people.
