SEBA SEBA is a bakery and a restaurant serving dishes of breakfast, lunch and dinner!
I was told SEBA SEBA is like the McD of South American but 10X the variety of food. Many have popping up around the Jackson Heights, Corona area.
This store is right at the corner of Junction Blvd (96th St.) and Roosevelt Ave. Number 7-train Junction Blvd station.
Their beef and chicken empanadas are pretty good especially with their fresh hot sauce. Rate both 4/5.
The Chicharron De Guayaba is delicious. Rate 4/5.

This location has been here for many years. They also have two other locations in the Jackson Heights/Corona area, but this is the only one that I have been to. This place is best described as being a Colombian diner. They serve food all day with plenty of empanadas, breads and pastries for a quick breakfast. Overall, the baked goods here are better quality than anything else they offer here. However, the bandeja paisa, chicharron and other meaty entrees are still okay for dinner.
I have come in here tooooo many times for their empanadas and hot sauce.
If I pass by and I find parking….I just can't help myself. Geez. I get in TROUBLE. Empanada Trouble!
It's not the best empanada out there but I like their hot sauce! The hot sauce is made in-house. In general, I love empanadas with corn meal crusts and Seba Seba empanada's are made in this fashion. I usually opt for the beef option. The empanadas here are great if I need a fix, an empanada fix. Nice crisp outside and yummy filling is the perfect vehicle for my HOT SAUCE!
My boyfriend now loves empanadas with corn meal crust. YES, the brain washing has begun! hahaha. J.K.!
We love the hot sauce!!!! I always wanted to try the rest of the menu which is Colombian cuisine.
Seba Seba also has bakery products. I have tried the Chicharron De Guayaba. OMG it was goooood. The guava paste in the pastry was delicioso!
In the showcase where the empanadas are stored to stay warm, I saw the Fried Cassava with ground beef "pastry" and pointed it out to the lady..can I have one of those too?!! It was really really delicioso also.
There are 3 Seba Seba's. This is the newest Seba Seba location. It's situated next to the Junction Boulevard subway station. The proximity to the train makes this location the busiest and loudest. YIKES. And parking is somewhat difficult. But believe it or not the parking is at least better than the 37th Avenue Seba Seba location.
This location has been here for a few years now & it's great since it's easier to get to than the one on Northern.
The restaurant itself is nothing crazy small place with seating & table service.
I've never sat down & tried the food it's always just a quick bite to go.
They have great Colombian Empanadas , Buñelos are delicious & so are the Dedos de Queso ( cheese sticks basically )
Sausages & Chicarón are good as well.
Can't remember the name but there's this corn thing shaped like a football , it's a bit odd but it's pretty tasty.
I love the Yuca empanadas these are so yummy filled with meat & so is the Papa Rellena also filled with meat but these are Chicken & potato.
There's also plenty of breads to choose from the bread with Cheese is delicious.
Now unfortunately all these goodies are certainly not the healthiest for u since most of this stuff is fried but they can be hard to resist.
Great bakery lots to choose from prices are pretty cheap & since I always get stuff to go the service is quick.
I can say I'll always be here but certainly will come back from time to time.
