  1. One of my Seamless go-tos for the area.  Swift delivery (anywhere from twenty to forty minutes) and consistent quality of ingredients and cooking (I've had one out of ten to twelve orders that seemed like the kitchen wasn't having a good night).

The appetizers are maybe the strongest part of the menu.  The calamari is surprisingly fresh and well-cooked, and comes with a delicious tomato-mint sauce.  They should be bottling and selling that sauce.  (For all I know, they are buying it already in a bottle…but I don't care, it's really good.)  The various dumplings/potstickers and the Siam Bun are all solid as well.

I'm partial to the rice entrees — the 6 o'clock spicy and green curry rice dishes are both really good.  If I'm feeling like more veggies, the Japanese Eggplant/basil dish is quite good with chicken.  I'm not a huge fan of the noodle dishes here, perhaps because they don't travel as well as the others.  Also, I found the mixed seafood/meat approach (chicken, shrimp, squid) in the Drunk Man noodles to be a bit offputting–too many textures going on at once for my taste.  Curries are average as well, the best I've tried being the panang.

It's a bit on the pricy side compared to some of the alternatives (you can order similarly from SkyIce for a few dollars less per person), but consistency and speed are paramount when you're looking for dinner to knock on your door after a long day at work. Overall, some of the best delivery Thai in the area

  2. Love this place! The food is great I just wish the noodle portions were bigger! Also on weekends it gets packed out so you might have to wait a little.

  3. I wandered into Spice for a weekday lunch. It was pretty empty but I don't mind since I can have lunch in peace. They have lunch specials with appetizers and an entrée. Service was nice, and food arrived at a timely manner. The waitress was also very accommodating.

I ordered the Steamed Dumplings and Tofu Pad Thai, along with a Thai Iced Tea. The beverage was on the sweeter side and had that distinct bright orange color a Thai Iced Tea encompasses. The Steamed Dumping was average but the sauce that it was served in made it above par. Tofu Pad Thai was a good portion, the tofu were soft and not the ones that were fried.

Overall, a pleasant meal. They also have seats in the back where you can enjoy the weather on a hot summer day.

  4. Food was average for Thai food in the area; a bit greasy, but acceptable. Would definitely come back!

  5. Their prices are higher in person than online! $8 for curry online; $8.50 in person. You're already paying a tip for the service, so it doesn't make sense to add even more fees. Raise or lower, whatever, but equalize them.

The service is minimal. Not terribly fast but not particularly slow.

The Pad Thai did come with an appetizer, which was nice. I got the vegetable dumplings, and there were four rather large ones.

The Pad Thai itself was awful — sweet and not spicy. Not sure why Thai places always do this — if I wanted sweet I'd go to an Americanized Chinese place.

Their prices are pretty good for the city — $8.50 for the Pad Thai. Maybe I'll order online next time — lower prices and I'll get to try something better.

  6. My theory is that you have to have bad Thai in order to appreciate good Thai. Arguably this place's only potential benefit…

I'm not even halfway through my meal, and I feel compelled to write a review. Service isn't the worst, but I ordered a dish with the word "Spicy" in its name at a restaurant called "Spice", and it doesn't even have a kick to it. It was in the "negative" levels of spicy. Shameful. One of my biggest pet peeves is a dish advertised as being both 1) spicy and 2) Thai and tasting like Chinese fried rice with basil leaves thrown in. Don't get me wrong, I love Chinese, but…but I came here for Thai…

I just told them it wasn't spicy, gave almost the entire dish back, and asked for the check. Nope, nothing was taken off. I chose to only pay for the wine, which they at least have decent taste in.

If you take your Thai seriously, you may want to think long and hard before eating here.

  7. Came her with a group of friends last week and it was a solid choice. The staff was very attentive and the food was served quickly. The bubble tea was a bit too sweet but everyone seemed to enjoy the food. I will say that the spring rolls are LITERALLY just filled with lettuce, which was weird.

Overall a good experience will definitely come back .

  8. I love this little place.

I recently changed job locations and was blessed with being placed in park slope. This is a convenient few blocks away and well worth the walk. It can be hard to miss as you're walking by unless you are paying full attention.

I typically have the Spicy shrimp Thai fried rice that comes with all kinds of goodies. A fresh cut cucumber and tomato slice on the side and all kinds of herbs and delicious veggies mixed in with the rice. It has just the right amount of spice (not too spicy) and comes in a generous serving for the price $10 on a lunch special.

I ordered the lychee and mango margarita, both of which aren't the best in terms of taste (could be sweeter) but they get the job done if you know what I mean 😉

I like to dine here as often as I can when I'm in the mood to splurge a little on lunch. I defined recommend this place. The staff is friendly and attentive. Delicious Thai food 🙂
