It's my go-to diner. Although they are always packed on the weekends, I haven't waited more than 5 minutes for a seat. The service is quick! Your food will be out within 5-10 minutes of ordering. The food is good, considering it's a diner and has a high volume of deliveries. It's a great place to go grab a full, hearty, American breakfast. They practically have it all on the menu.
This location has been closed by health inspectors a few times so I'm always on edge when going there! The food is acceptable but not the best. A little on the pricey side and extremely crowded every morning as it is a small place.
Very friendly service and food was good. Good diner I wouldn't mind going back to at all. Double fried french fries are always good. Place seems to be packed all the time but they still do a good job of taking care of everyone.
From the reviews I read before venturing out early in the morning to make the four mile pilgrimage to Tasty Restaurant, I was quite excited to sit for breakfast.
So many positive reviews from a quality and food portion perspective, coupled with the significantly reasonable prices.
I was reviewing photos taken by reviewers for a snapshot of the food that the location serves, yet found myself looking at many photos of some guy (Pedro C) and his two kids at Tasty Restaurant. Nobody cares about your kids buddy, kindly remove them as this is a review site, not Facebook.
Keeping it simple for my first dining experience I ordered two eggs sunny side up with sausage which comes with home fries and toast.
I asked for rye and got white bread, the sausage was under cooked which is a frightening sight anytime of day and the sight remains lingering in my mind. I did not mention anything to the server, as the location was rapidly filling up and I just did not desire to have a complaint come out of my mouth this early in the morning.
In no way will this deter my eventual return trip and updated review.
My company's go to spot for breakfast. Get the breakfast croissant comes with cheddar cheese, Canadian bacon and scrambled eggs yummmmm!
it seems like everyone has different experiences with this cute diner. I only have ordered out so far on grubhub but ive passed by the place before it looks pretty cozy. I ordered a crispy chicken wrap with honey mustard and avocado along with sweet potato fries. the fries were done perfectly, nice and crispy, well seasoned and a decent portion. they did charge extra for avocado but it was nice that they didn't charge extra for making the wrap whole wheat. I like that the wrap wasn't greasy and it didn't fall apart, and delivery came relatively quick. On a rainy sunday night I will order from them again!
Needed someplace to cure a mid-week hangover (don't judge, I'm on vacation!) and I was craving something fried, cheesy and meaty.
Preferably cheap.
I walked into Tasty's. Not frills. Huge breakfast selection.
Ordered a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a roll and a coffee.
It was ready in a flash. One egg, lots of bacon and cheese.
So hot. The roll was too big though, next time I'll get an english muffin.
All of that deliciousness for only $5, plus no more hangover. =)
Old school diner with lots of kooky quotes written all over the place. The place was PACKED during the lunch rush and I can see why….food was on point.
I had a waffle with bacon and oh man, oh man…I left wanting a bed.
