  1. I like a little cafe with local regulars, or a cafe that just look so cute and inviting. This cafe was one of those. The inside is small, with that very warm, cozy feeling. Not many tables, around 5 or 6, and the ones against the brick wall had bench seating on one side, and chair on the other side of the table. Interesting artworks on the wall, with large mirrors to create a vision of larger space within the small space.

Their latte was really great, high quality, you can really taste the ingredients and the coffee bean. We had some sweets to go with our latte, not crepes since we were not that hungry. We had a cookie, muffin, and PB brownie, they were all good, not too special or spectacular, but good.

The atmosphere and cozy, quiet space is really the selling items to me. I really enjoyed the little afternoon rest at this cafe. Read my full review of this cafe and food on my blog, foodlovergirl.

  2. Super cute and tiny – and love the "no internet" policy. The latte's are a little pricey, but no different than the other trendy coffee shops in the area.

  3. True to its name, this really is a (1) little (2) sweet (3) cafe!

I had a iced latte with soy to go today, and while it tasted pretty good (nice, smooth, but distinct flavors), I'm giving it three stars because I've never before been told that getting my latte half decaf would cost me an extra dollar (and I've requested this concoction at many different coffee shops- I'm not the baristas' favorite, I know).

The barista, as nice and friendly as he was, told me that because making a half-decaf latte would require him to make 2 separate shots, I would be charged an extra dollar. If there was a line of people behind me, I would have understood – but alas, the cafe was empty save for myself. Because I added soy, my total was already up to $5.75 for a small, iced, soy latte. I may like coffee, but I wasn't about to pay $6.75 for a small, iced, soy latte.

Their coffee IS quite good (much better than Brooklyn Fair!), so I'm a bit sad to know that I wouldn't be returning here:(

  4. Stopped in on a rainy day for lunch with the hubby and 1 year old. We had a couple of their savory crepes for lunch and shared a cookie for dessert. The space is VERY little! The 2 ladies behind the counter were running the entire show: cashier, waitress, cook, dishwasher . . even saw them signing for delivery. Because they're doing so much (and 1 even went on her break while we were there), the service was kind of scattered (had to ask for water twice, also had to have them re-make the matcha latte because there were large chunks of powder still in it. Maybe stick with the coffee!) But they were really nice to our kiddo.

  5. Charming little place.  I've always seen it walking down hour but never went inside.  After 10 years of living in NYC I finally walked in and ordered a latte.

Although charming it's extremely small and a little warm.   I could barely fit into a chair and I'm only 5'8.  I guess it's meant for willy wonka umpas cause I don't see how anyone could sit.  Also I enjoy a nice cool AC which must have been on low cause I barely felt if.

The latte though was tasty!  It did not have any fancy art but it was good.  I could taste the strong espresso beans.  The milk was good too, not was creamy as other places.

Overall solid latte and charming place but I'd take it to go next time.

  6. The Little Sweet Cafe is one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. It's just as the name implies- little & sweet. It gives off a cosy European-vibe which I love.
Despite how small the cafe is, I generally am always able to sit down to enjoy my food. My favorites are the Nutella & Banana Crepe as well as the Vegetarian Sandwich(apples, walnuts, arugula, and balsamic on deliciously fresh bread) are always safe bets.

I also frequently get coffee, tea, hot chocolate or cappuccinos to go–all are delicious. I truly love this place. It's absolutely charming and I can't help but just want to sit in the window all day with my coffee. In fact, I'm almost hesitant to write this review as I don't want to share what feels like a neighborhood secret in the event that I'm unable to get a seat next time I dine.

  7. It was sort of adorable with what looked like neighborhood dad's sitting with their little kids helping them cut up and eat crepes (they seem to be the speciality with both sweet and savory toppings.)

It is super duper small inside but really charming and as the name implies, sweet too.  like a little cottage or dolls house with vintage prints, gold mirrors and a brick wall on one side
Hard to describe but it really reeled me in.  I didn't yelp this place but noticed it upon walking to another coffee place one morning.

The iced coffee was great and they had almond milk to go in it.  I also tried a spinach turnover one day and an almond croissant the other.  (They offered the old warm up the pastry deal, but I as other yelpers have mentioned am decidedly anti-warming-up a la Starbucks.  To each his own.)  The staff kept things moving and I remember the spinach turnover was maybe $3 and change which i thought was quite reasonable.

  8. Cute little spot, prefect for brunch. Cappachinos are delicious and at a great price. Crepes and quiches are filling. Almost everything is home-made. Has the small- family- run- made-just-for- the- neighborhood feel. Highly recommended.
