  1. I really wanted to like this place. The menu looked amazing. Met a good size group for brunch. Everything was pretty good… until I found several hairs in my omelet. Oh boy. It ruined the meal. I didn't want to order anything else and I am looking at 4 other omelets on the table just wondering.

The service is slow and unreliable and the restroom is just a one person affair… which leads to lines.

Work on some hygiene, employ some customer focused staff and this could be a great location.

  2. *cheese cigars el capona (these had ricotta cheese and spinach and wrapped in a wonton wrapper and deep fried! Soooo good!!! Piping hot when they came out and it came with a mayo-based dipping sauce that tasted something similar to ranch dressing, I really liked this dish but I wish they had the oil drain longer on a paper towel before serving it)
*kosara crowns (sushi rice that was breaded with panko bread crumbs and deep fried, then it was topped with spicy tuna and drizzled with a little bit of soy sauce, OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what?! this was so good. I loved this appetizer. Definitely worth the $10. it was salty and savory and the salmon wasn't really spicy but definitely fishy haha); *spicy avocado panini (this sandwich has avocado, white beans, green chilis, arugula and pesto sauce; it was so basic but very good and they took out a lot of the bread to get all the ingredients in, I think it needed more salt and another ingredient to get it juicier and more acidic like artichokes, regardless though this sandwich was quite pure in terms of ingredients)
*whole wheat baguette (what is in this bread?! it was so good. the crust was amazing and inside was surprisingly sweet and had a great wheat flavor, doesn't need anything additional on that bread)
*cheese tortellini supreme (this was good, pretty sure it's store bought, the pasta was soft and the amount of cheese to pasta ratio was good)
*vanilla slim shake (sugar free vanilla ice cream shake; it was ok, but you can tell it's different from regular ice cream)

This place is super cute, relaxing, very chill and can we talk about those leather chairs?! so comfortable. the service is pretty good and they don't rush you; I would totally go back to this Kosher restaurant

  3. As some of you may know, one of the execs from my company's parent company keeps Kosher and can't eat wheat or gluten.  While I'm very familiar with the gluten-free diet since my mom and my sister have celiac disease, I've had to do some research on local Kosher dining establishments and, thus, ordered from Tiberias a couple wks ago.

While they were accommodating given the exec's food allergies, the food took a really long time to arrive, esp. considering my office is only a few blocks away.  I got to try some of the food and was very disappointed.  Given the lack of Kosher eateries though, I'm sure I'll be ordering in from there again.

  4. I only stopped in for a coffee but the impression of the place was that their sushi menu was very extensive, which must be a nice break for strict kosher eaters.  Open 24 hours? That's cool/good to know.
