Love this place!
This started out as a last minute lunch choice. In the end, it was the right choice.
Tucked away on Reade Street just off Broadway is this cozy brick oven pizza place. Walking in the door we were greeted by the hostess and immediately seated. I like the layout of the restaurant. Lots of small tables surrounding the center island with the brick oven. The atmosphere was relatively quiet making is easy to carry on conversation throughout our meal.
The server arrived shortly after we were seated and took our drink order and left us plenty of time to browse the menu. Narrowing down the choices on the menu was a tough one. I saw some delicious looking sandwiches at the next table but I was kind of set on the wood fired pizza. We were there for lunch and I did see some decent lunch specials to pick from such as the Penne al Pesto or Penne Vodka. The lunch specials ranged from $6.95 to $10.95.
Since this was my first visit I went for the signature wood fire brick oven pizza. The large Marguerite pie was $14.95, pretty reasonable by NYC standards. The Marguerite came with tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and fresh basil. The pizza came out pretty quick. Very impressed with the service here. Although next time I think I'll get a little more adventurous and try the Prosciutto e Funghi pie with mushrooms and fresh procuttio on top for $16.95.
I love the crispy crust, nothing beats hot brick oven pizza!
I was mesmerized watching the oven as we were waiting for our food. Although it's a gas-fired brick oven with a couple of pieces of wood inside the pizza was prepared to perfection. I couldn't help but notice the flames in the oven flaring up every 5-10 seconds. Pretty cool. The server told us the gas helps keep the temperature of the oven consistent.
I really like this place. I like the atmosphere, I like to service, and I love the pizza. I will definitely be back.
I highly recommend Tre Sorelle. You should definitely try this place if you're in the neighborhood.

This review is for delivery, so i can speak for that and say that it was not enjoyed. I ordered an eggplant parm sandwich and it was completely soggy. It was like they poured the sauce directly on top of the sandwich – when i opened it all i saw was sauce. My co-worker had the Chicken Milanese salad, and it tasted like chicken fingers from six flags!
Delivery was on time, and perhaps dining in would be better.
I've been coming to this restaurant since it first opened. It use to be a buffet style Chinese restaurant that closed down about 3-4 years ago. We patiently waited to see what would take its place. Lucky for us (work close by), it was this fabulous place. My office orders delivery 2-3 a week from here. If we are not too busy we go enjoy 1 hour of peace and quiet with delicious food. The delivery is always quick and the person taking orders is attentive even when we hear it that it's a madhouse based on background noise via phone. Our favorites include penne pesto (we have grilled chicken added), chicken scarpariello, chicken fettuccine, veal scaloppine, the fried meatball appetizers, 3 cheese noochi, calamari app, burger, chicken Caesar salad and the garlic bread. I have gone to dinner there and their bar selection is not that large but it's adequate for italian restaurant. They make pretty good mojitos when mint leaves are available. During the summer they have kareoke on thursday nights. We would frequent this last year. I hope they bring it back this summer again.
I came here with my dad for dinner after he visited me at work and was somewhat disappointed. We shared a salad with raspberry vinaigrette that was pretty good and then my dad got linguine with clam sauce and I got a half Marguerite pizza, half Quattro Stagioni pizza. The pizza was soggy and the the mozzarella sauce didn't taste fresh. My dad was satisfied with his pasta.
The restaurant itself is okay, but I was a little bit distracted by the large TV on the back of the wall.
I wouldn't go back.
A great lunch splurge. This is my special occasion work place. The food never disappoints and the portions are quite big. Good friendly service and good cocktails too. The restaurant is a casual wooden-table atmosphere. It's always busy so call ahead.
Good Italian food is so easy to find in New York City that the bar is high for me. Perhaps this is more "pizza" than "pasta". If so, I would cite several examples of pizza houses that make fantastic lasagna. Tre Sorelle did not really cut it for me.
My veal parmigiana was OK. Her penne vodka was not as good as vodka sauce I've tasted at cheaper restaurants or, out of a jar. The pasta was sticky, gooey.
The decor is attractive, which is part of the reason I wanted to try Tre Sorelle. However, the large screen TVs create a cheesy and contrasting atmosphere.
Peroni beer on tap was the best part of the experience. The wine list has affordable options.
Five of us went for lunch specials today, some pastas, some sandwiches, everyone happy n full, good service, total bill with generous tip was 10 dollars each.
Met a good friend for a catch-up dinner and found this place. The place has a large bar in the middle of the restaurant with tables on either side of the bar and behind the bar so it almost more bar than restaurant. When we got there, there was a large crowd at the bar (for happy hour specials) so finding a table that was out of the way of the bar took some effort.
Good variety of Italian dishes – salads, pizzas, pastas, and mains. Reasonably priced as my pasta dish was $13.95 and also came with some Italian bread. We split bruschetta ($6 for 4 pieces) through the bread was a bit soggy but the tomato topping was generous and well seasoned. I had linguini with white clam sauce for my entree. Well cooked pasta, not too oily or garlicky, and a bunch of full clams. My friend got ravioli which she liked. They gave about 6-7 big ravioli which was a good portion.
The service was great as the food came promptly and they were happy to let us linger and talk after we ate our meal. They also have a good selection of reasonably priced beers and wines. A good spot for a quick reasonably good priced meal.
