  1. I don't understand why this place wasn't jam packed on a Saturday night!!!

The food was insanely delicious, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the music was off the hook!

I mean, we were a little shocked that they only served sangria but after a pitcher who cares???

We truly enjoyed ourselves and you will too. Check this place out, you won't be disappointed.

  2. Last week I ordered the pernil with mora rice. The pork was perfection the rice was over seasoned. My girlfriend ordered the Peruvian  chicken fried rice, her entire dish was super over seasoned. It was like licking spices. Horrible cooking on the chefs part. The only thing that was perfect was the pernil. Come on tu case pick up your game.

  3. Very glad Tu Casa has opened up another location in addition to Astoria and Metropolitan Avenue. This location is just as good as the other 2. The food is always tasty, the space is small but still large enough for a group and the service is good. I had a glass of sangria and calamari for starters. My entree consisted of a 1/2 rotisserie chicken with yellow rice and beans. Very reasonable price and cant wait to see what more happy hour specials are in store.

  4. Tu Casa was wonderful for take out!
We ordered the pernil with rice and beans and their whole Peruvian chicken.
The well seasoned, fell-apart-under-your-fork half-fatty juicy pernil was perfect. I could eat this everyday.
And the roasted Peruvian chicken hit the spot! Coated with garlic, paprika and roasted until the skin was crisp and thigh meat was tender. So good!
And we both loved the green sauce. This cilantro peppery sauce was spicy and smooth.
Will definitely order from them again!

  5. Three and a half stars actually.

Service is good from being seated to wait staff to table busing. BYOB which saves $.

Fried calamari was crisp outside and tender inside. Their green sauce and garlic sauce are amazing. Chicken wings were average.  Over fried and sauce tasted like Frank's (which is good but average-no thought went into the wings).   Pernil with rice was good as was ceviche mixto.

Nothing was over the top but this visit warrants a second so we can try the chicken and desserts and other main entrees.
