Tudor Gourmet serves high quality sandwiches salads and pastries. They are very friendly and consistent.
You'll be pleasantly surprised with how high quality the ingredients and preparations are.
Also, they get daily deliveries from Balthazar bakery of pastries.
The 3.5 stars is mostly for the excellent customer service. I went in for the grilled halloumi sandwich and didn't realize that they gave me a chicken sandwich until I got back to work. I called them and they sent someone over to my office with the correct sandwich, a cookie, and an apology. I thought that was great customer service.
My halloumi sandwich wasn't bad but it definitely wasn't the best that I've had. So far, The Picnic Basket on 50th makes my favorite version!
They have tons of sandwich options, so you'll probably find something that you'll like. As another reviewer mentioned, I wish they didn't use a microwave…oh well.
Very friendly and welcoming. Maybe I didn't order the best thing that's representative of this place, but my half sandwich and salad was not very filling for $13. It tasted good and was fresh, just would've liked a slightly larger portion. Otherwise, cute takeout place in Tudor City.
