The coffee is good. That's really all that matters, isn't it? I never thought I would describe a roast as "Nutty and creamy" but that is what theirs is. It's heavenly.
5 star service. The barista was super friendly and didn't make me feel dumb for not knowing that this place is cash only. The coffee was great and they had vegan peanut butter cookies. I would come here every day, but I buy everything with my credit card, because it's 2015.
A smaller version of their Graham stop sister store, this one is even better in my opinion, somehow because it's smaller.
After enjoying a shot of espresso, I munched down on a bran & fruit muffin while chatting with Cameron about coffee and what makes a good cafe. Cup quality. Made-to-order. Expert Barristas, good roasts. All these things were discussed in great detail, meanwhile a cute patron walks in with her dog, who proceeds to make fast friends with me.
The place is also in the nether-lands, not as in the wonderful but tiny dutch country in Europe, but rather a far flung and according to google lesser or lower in position area. That of Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Without a bicycle, this little outpost may not be particularly accessible, but that just makes it all the more charming. Plus it's right across the street from the park.
