Victor’s Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant

“Easy to miss this small pizza place, but if you park in the CVS parking lot and walk down the ramp in front you will find it.”

“They have a lot of specialty pizza and they will make any combination you want.”

“Not as thick as a Chicago pizza, but definitely thicker than a NY pizza or a neapolitan pizza.”

  1. I live a block away from this place and this is like my comfort food. Victor's pizza has the best plain cheese pizza. Who knew a plain cheese and spinach stuffed pizza could taste so good! You see everything being made right there. There is a guy who is kneading the dough beautifully all day right there. Wonderful pizza and a place to definitely stop by for a fantastic bite.

  2. Very good pizza, but not the best in north Jersey. Sauce is a little too sparse for my liking, but they certainly don't skimp on the toppings. Minor gripe, but for being near a college campus (Fairleigh Dickinson) they could stand to be a little cheaper. Some of their menu items are reasonably priced, though, so I won't fault them too badly.

  3. I've been getting pizza from here for years and plan on continuing to do so – delicious!

  4. I'm not a big pizza lover but my friend was having a craving for some so we hit them up. $2 a slice isn't bad especially for the HUGE slice they give you and it's overloaded with cheese (which my friend loved).

I ordered the spaghetti with marinara ($8.50) and it was a GENEROUS portion. I ate half and had to wrap the rest to go (it also came with bread that was warm and light, not heavy at all).

The staff is super friendly and nice. It's near the office so it may end up in my rotation!

  5. I haven't really tried anything other then the pizza.  And when it comes to that, there is no other place to call when you are in the mood for good pizza.  Great crust, good sauce, and cheesy.

They offer dine in and delivery; the pizza is always still hot upon arrival.

  6. The Story: Ahh…teenage memories. As a spawn of first generation immigrants growing up in Jersey…my idea of "pizza" was dominos, pizza hut and papa johns for a VERY VERY long time. Victor's Pizzeria was my first mom and pop pizzeria.

    Food:
I enjoy their pizza. Greasy, cheesy and hot! and I did add cheesy. (I'm lactose intolerant so…it's worth it) I'm not too fond of their thin crust since I cannot eat it with my hands.

Decor: It's for reviews like this that I wonder why I even have a "decor" section… Well it's fairly clean and they have chairs and tables to eat at… theres napkins, red pepper flakes and garlic powder at every table. (like any pizzeria should have)

Price: I paid about $20 for a loaded large pie and drinks. Between 2 people that's $10 a pop! Good deal with today's inflation.

    Service: Quick and efficient.

Parking & Finding the Place: This one is on Teaneck road by the CVS (is it still a CVS?)

    Additional Thoughts/Tips:

  7. One of the best pizzeria-restaurants I have been to. I have eaten their food many times now and always leave happy.

Among the locals in Teaneck they are famous for their very good chicken parmesan sandwiches with generous amounts of cheese and tasty, tender chicken.

Their pizzas are also very good. As are the veal dishes and pasta. The only thing I didn't like as much was the meatball sub, which was a bit bland.

Instead of going to a frou frou restaurant with high prices, Victor's has great Italian food at a great value. The service is very friendly and honest too. One drawback was that the floors and bathrooms need a bit of tidying up. I am willing to overlook that because everything else was great.

  8. Love it! It's convenient to us because it is close by. I love the spinach/broccoli stuffed pizza- my fav. Second fav is the penne pasta tossed in garlic oil and broccoli. My daughter loves their bbq chicken pizza, and my hubby likes their chicken wings. He was sick one time and I actually ordered their chicken soup and it was actually amazing. Tastes like moms homemade chicken soup!
