New Years Eve my wife and I saw this bright new establishment in town during a holiday walk and it had just closed for the evening. Today I visited for lunch and put it on the Yelp map! I can't wait to see how the store develops!
A cool new small retail market; the space is half market half chocolate making kitchen. Why? Vita began as a raw organic whole small batch chocolate maker dedicated to holistic principals. Who doesn't like chocolate? The market area currently offers healthy organic sandwiches, salads, soups,snacks, juices, beverages and other organic products. Classes will be offered on nutrition and health. I stopped in to introduce myself and stayed for a fresh and delicious tuna wrap; met the owner Jen Meister. Jen is a wonderfully vibrant person. She took a moment to sit with me and chat about the philosophy behind Vita. It was a pleasure to meet her. When your in the area stop in and check out this hot new expanding retail market right by the Hilltop Bicycle Shop!
If you are looking for an organic snack, this is the go to place in Summit. Yeah their's whole foods but better to support your local person, no? What's better than having a chocolate factory next door that you can watch them make their magically delicious sweet concoction! We didn't have any issues with staff. Were helpful. Enough items to satisfy your sweet tooth/cravings and organic! ENJOY!
