“It is a bit pricey for a lunch but it's sushi in Battery Park, so the prices are pretty standard for the city.”

“My friend needed a gluten-free dish and had one made especially for him from the non-gluten-free menu.”

“First time at this place, I haven't experienced much Thai food, but did enjoy my Pad Thai here.”

  1. Delivery to the 195 Broadway building BOMB (coupons) great quality of meet. If your in the area and want delicious food COME/GO here!

  2. Omg I love this place. If your ever at Loopey Doopey and want a great selection of sushi and happy hour, this is the place to be. I don't remember what rolls we ordered but they're very tasty!

  3. As someone who is gluten free, I was so excited when I saw this place! It got 3 stars on yelp and 5 on the gluten free app. We never go to restaurant that has less than 4 stars on yelp but we decided to give this place a try bc it had so many Asian gluten free options.

We ordered the Manhattan roll and NYGiant roll which were both disgusting. The combination of ingredients made the sushi unpalatable.

I would not order the sushi here. Stick to the gluten free sesame chicken which was good. Perhaps the non Japanese foods are better.

The food did not trigger any of my gluten symptoms which was nice.

  4. Place is close to financial center and I guess people come for quick meals. Great for quick meals, a little expensive but I guess people working around that area won't mind. But do not come here for a decent sit down meal. Rolls are decent but overpriced compare to what you can find in the city and the pineapple fried rice is too salty. Portions are big for noodles and rice and small for rolls

  5. Duck wonton soup was quite good – full of fresh veggies even. Tables were tooooo close to each other. Customers constantly were requesting bar seating when seated on the close two-person tables. Was difficult having a Conv with people listening to you so easily.

  6. A few coworkers and I came in on a Tuesday at around 12 and it wasn't too packed yet. The place isn't huge so I can see it getting pretty busy.

They have lunch specials, which come with your choice of miso soup or a side salad. The salad dressing was really gingery so if you don't like ginger, you might want to ask for it on the side, or maybe opt for the soup.

I went with the sushi sashimi lunch. It comes with 3pcs of sushi, 7pcs of sashimi, and a tuna roll or california roll. I have no complaints. Everything tasted fresh. It is a bit pricey for a lunch but it's sushi in Battery Park, so the prices are pretty standard for the city.

If you're not interested in sushi, they have other dishes, like fried rice, noodles, pad Thai – basically a mix of different Asian cuisines.

  7. You know you've ordered well when the kid next to you orders the same thing as you, the Shank Beef Noodle Soup w. Kimchee was large and very tasty!

"My son saw yours and knew he had to have it!"
"I hope he can make more of a dent than I could"

Wei West is one of those places you have to tell them from the get go you're running late to your next meeting, and you'll still be sitting there an hour and half later thinking, good thing I blocked my calendar for 2 hours.

A wide offering of Asian cuisine and in the heart of Goldman Alley to get you back in time for your 2 o'clock.

  8. OK really nice place but honestly not the best sushi I've ever had.
I came here after work one late rainy night with my colleague to grab something before his basketball game.

    We ordered:
    -Edamame w. Sea Salt
-Singapore Noodle: roast pork, shrimp, eggs, thin rice noodles, a hint of curry
-Tuna Lover: Crunchy tuna avocado topped with spicy tuna, red and wasabi caviar an spicy aioli
-Golden Eye: Crunchy spicy salmon and mango topped with salmon, jalapeno, red and yuzu caviar with sweet miso, beet and wasabi sauce

it was good and the portions were plentiful.
    Ok spot in a pinch.
